Who else is coming from Xbox 360?

I am coming from Xbox 360 as well. I got my Playstation 3 about 2 years after I got my Xbox 360. Leaving me with a lot of regret, because of how well my Xbox 360 was and the history I had with it. However I do love the Playstation more than the Xbox 360 though.

I don't know why anyone would abandon one console for another in the next generation unless they had the equivalent on the current gen. I just got my PS3 early this year after having an Xbox 360 since 2009, and I still don't really prefer one over the other. Likewise, I see no reason to choose the Xbox One over the PS4 or vice versa in lieu of playing one of my two perfectly good consoles.

If I even had the cash for both I wouldn't get both because I could get a ton of games for the price of one console, both consoles being pretty much the same with small differences I find it cheaper to go with one or the other. When I see people get a gaming PC, Xbox and a Playstation. I see it as a waste of money IMO. Why not just get one gaming system with lots of games? I get that there are exclusives you would miss, but is it really worth all the money?

I went PS2, 360, PS4. I am just gambling in hopes that the PS4 will be the better console. PS2 was legend. 360 edged out PS3 because of Live. I think PS4 will get sony back on track as the best console. The only thing that attracted me to Xbone was Forza 5. The PS4 reasons: $100, Killzone, my Vita, and a guess that it will be better in the long run.

To each his own. Gaming is my hobby. I had the wii, 360, ps3, vita, and gaming pc last gen. Why... Why not? It might be a waste of money to one person, but maybe not to another. Some people would argue that buying any console is a waste of money.

I was a big XBOX 360 fan, and whilst I did own a PS3.. XBOX 360 was by far the console I used the most. However, when I heard about the PS4 and the XBOX One, there was no way I was going to get the XBOX One. It's rubbish compared to PS4!

Im not exactly coming from the Xbox 360 per say but I did own one along with a Wii and a Ps3.

I usually buy all 3 consoles, and play certain titles on each. Even still, Sony is preferred console of choice and has been since the Playstation 2.

I'm making the move to PS4 from 360 simply because I really don't like the direction that MS are taking with their hardware. As I said in my intro thread, I want a games console, not a media hub.

In an ideal world I would have both ( and I'll miss playing next gen Halo and GOW ) but I have to make a choice that is best for me, and Sony have basically made the exact type of console that I think appeals to people like me who want a pure gaming experience. That's not to say the X1 isn't a good console, it is, but in trying to be everything I feel that its lost its indentity as a gaming machine.

I also moved from my old 360, and so far I have not regret doing so. Ps4 right now has a better lineup, and they are getting better games down the road.

The only series I am going to miss is Fable, I didn't even realize that it was microsoft exclusive until I sold my 360..

Same here.

Although price was a huge factor too for me. I think the final straw was when they changed their decision to allow second hand games. The way they announced the initial decision not to allow it made it seem that the console was not capable of doing such thing, 2 weeks later 'oh well actually, you can play second hand games! Buy our console'

I'm coming from 360 too, but not to PS4. Honestly, love my 360, but it's really losing support from Japanese devs lately so I got a PS3 recently. Dem PS3 exclusives, man. Besides... 360 was the odd one out, considering I got a PS1, PS2 and PSP before the 360... and then I got a Vita after the 360 and now a PS3. So yeah, odd one out.

I'm coming from the Xbox 360, reason being was the whole RROD disaster and the DRM thing Microsoft had dug up at their announcement.
