Well, it has been announced. Xbox One.

For those who watched the reveal or read up on this, what are your thoughts?

I watched most of the reveal and I must admit I wasn't blown away.
I was more impressed with EA's ignite engine that looked good, as for streaming tv and a bluray, Meh been done already!
and still no real indication as to its true price.

I like the presentation of the console. Looks impressive. But at the same time, I'm not going crazy over it either. I need to get more information about it.

I've always wanted to have a water cooler than can play video games! Also, with the Xbox One, I can finally watch sports on my cable TV! Damn, what a good deal! Xbox one truly is the ONE for me! <3.

Haha! This video cracked me up. What's even funnier is that it's true. When Xbox One was announced, I was thinking:"So I'm paying hundreds of dollars on a huge box, so that I can use my TV, hands free. Nice...."

I'm really wondering, what happened to making plain old consoles just for the sake of gaming. To improve the graphics (Which seems to have been achieved by the industry) and to give gamers a better experience when playing games. I agree that the online connectivity helps when I want to play Co-op with my friends but what's with the movies and TV!???

I think that Microsoft got way too arrogant with their new system, either that or its supposedly the 3rd console curse at work here. Not only have they foolishly made Kinect mandatory which I hear won't sit too well with many European countries, they have also had to deal with the issues of always online and used games. Even though they have now reversed their policy on this, that doesn't change the fact they Microsoft seriously considered implementing that in their console in the first place. I think Sony has a legit chance at winning this generation.
