Rate the last PS3 game you played

I finished The Last of Us for the 2nd time and I'd have to give it 10/10, gave me the same emotions that I got when I first played the game back in June.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, I give it a 7.5/10. Why? It's awesome, it is basically WoW style mixed with Dragon Age mixed with some Mass Effect type feel. I got it off PSN + not long ago. It's neat though and really rewards you, I love RPG games so I can't really give many rpg's below a 6 cause I just love them. lol

I just beat Malicious recently, I give it a 7/10. The game is really cool, the graphics are great (fantastic style), the music is awesome and the designs of the bosses are pretty neat. However, there are a few issues that prevent me from giving it a higher score... first off, it's really short. Second, there's a lot of framerate and camera issues... and third, sometimes it feels really hard to actually get the character to do what I want.

I got it off of PS+ a while ago but only recently got a PS3, haha, so I only got around to it recently. I do recommend it because of how unique it is (it's basically a boss rush and every boss provides new moves/weapons/upgrades, like Mega Man) but keep in mind the issues I've mentioned.

Has score and time leaderboards, for those that get competitive!

I've been wondering about Kingdoms of Amalur. I've read about it, looked at screens, and considered looking at Twitch gameplay only to get sidetracked by Fallout New Vegas gameplay. I'm sucker for watching people play Fallout out.

I might actually pick up Kingdoms of Amalur. I've seen it on Amazon pretty cheap lately.

The last game I played was GTA5. To be honest, it's about the only game I've played for about the last month. I don’t really fancy buying anything else for my PS3 now, unless something really does take my fancy or going cheap. I've completed the main story mode and all the side missions. I'm basically tying up the 'loose ends' such as doing the stunt jumps, collecting parts e.t.c… I seriously doubt I'll get 100% completion, but I'll be happy when the percentage goes up and over into the 90's. I'll call it a day, then.

My own review of the game? Overall I've been very impressed with it and I've generally been a fan of the series right from the original PS1 game. No, GTA5 isn't my favourite game of last year. That accolade went to 'The Last Of Us'. It’s in at number two in my own charts though.

There's a huge map, a wide variety of terrain, some decent lighting effects and an impressive selection of vehicles to use. Whilst I wasn't a fan of Franklin's character, I really did enjoy the rest of the story and was genuinely sorry when it all come to an end. The rock station has some quality tunes (Chicago – If You Leave Me Now, especially. I used to listen to a lot of Chicago's tunes when I was a child!)

A good, solid 9/10 for me. It's one of very few games from last year which really did live up to a lot of the hype in my opinion.

I tried it out, it isn't that bad but for me it was free on PS+, not sure if it's still there though. He's right though, it feels like dragon age a bit and an MMO feel.

4.5/5 because the "Heist" update on GTA V that I have been waiting for online is not out yet. I wouldn't give them 5 until that online feature is out.

Currently I'm playing Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and it's in 8 territory right now. It's pretty damn 80s. It's something SpaceTiger would dig.

Last game I played was on InFamous and I give it a 9.5/10. LOVE THIS GAME. It was so fun to run around and just do stuff. Float around, beat up stuff, terrorize people, it's all great fun.

I'd give borderlands 2 an 8/10. The storyline was fun and the gameplay was decent, the real advantages are the plethora of guns available and the multiplayer co-op gameplay. Playing with friends is damn fun in this game and I had a blast playing with my friends in the dorm.

Replaying one of my favorite games of all time, Skate. Fluid controls and a fair level of challenge are my favorite aspects of the game. I'm not sure if I'm just really good, or the game is really short, but I'm pretty far into the game after only a couple of hours. Love the game though, 9/10.

Mercenaries 2: World In Flames. I give it a 6.5/10. Very solid game, very, very light on the story. The weightlessness of the story is kind of made up by the free you have in the game world. Like a game can get by with a thin to decent story if you have freedom to go about things at your own pace than say a linear game with a very light story.

The last game I played was Disney Infinity.... it's quite unorthodox as a video game in that you need several things to play it... similar to Skylanders, you need the disc, but you also need a game pad and on the game pad you need to e able to place a character to play with as well as power up discs and a playset. It's a really creative game and has a lot of content. The toy box mode is my favorite as it lets you create any kind of game you like. It also has a small programming element in it. Not that it has hard programming in it, but it does include some fundamental basics of how coding works.. even if you're not necessarily using code to do so. It's a hugely enjoyable game- 10/10!

I've been playing Madden 13 lately. The career mode is a really good idea, unfortunately, I'm a running back who only gets to do punt/kick returns, which gets old pretty fast. I haven't played a Madden game since 2010, so the new features were worth 20 bucks. I couldn't imagine buying Madden 25, or the next one, for sixty dollars though.

South Park: The Stick of Truth

Awesome-O. This had me laughing through-out the game. Really enjoyed this one. If you love the show which I do, then it's a no-brainer to pick this one up.

9/10

Tried to play a friendly game of RDR today. There were some guys lying down in the coral so I shot 1. the game started glitching bad. I turned off the tv and went to see if this was a common problem. After I got back I turned off the system and started over only find out I was now level 50. The game was unplayable. don't know what happened but it is a bit of a pain. My biggest fear is when rockstar notices it. I didn't cheat but the game doing what it did will make it appear as if I did.

You should be safe, it's a glitch on Rockstar's end that most just call the instant XP exploit. Seems like you just activated it without knowing. From Playstation Trophies:

Basically, go to a public session (doesn't work in private), and go to MacFarlane's Ranch. You'll see loads of guys (NPCs) lying in the ground stuck. Shoot/melee one, then go somewhere to hide from the cops (my personal choice is the top of the barn, as the cops can't see you and will stop chasing you). If you go to the current player/score list, you'll see that your XP score is rapidly growing. Just stay put and it shouldn't stop. Even if it does, you can trigger it again by shooting one of the guys again.

Thanks SpaceTiger, I looked for info but couldn't find any info on what had happened. I was in a private match with my son and nephew at the time so I guess it does work on private as well.
