Any fans of Rogue Galaxy for the PS2 here?

A little while after I bought my PS2, I picked up a copy of Rogue Galaxy on a whim. I played it so much; I absolutely loved it. I'd even go so far as to call it one of my favorite games of all time. I don't remember a whole lot about it, but I remember spending a lot of time catching and "training" those little bug guys to battle against people in the game. I loved everything about the game, though: the characters, the story, and especially the combat. Unfortunately, I don't think I ever got a chance to finish it. My PS2 stopped working inexplicably one day and I ended up selling all of my games because I couldn't afford to buy a replacement. I really wish they'd add the game to the PSN; I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

I loved Rogue Galaxy for the PS2. I beat it once and I felt very satisfied with myself. I loved the cell shaded graphics and the action-RPG style of play. I also loved visiting different planets and exploring lush jungles, lively villages, and huge cities. It was like Star Wars meets Dragon Quest. I don't remember training little bug things though. I had a collection of bugs in the game but they were used to battle other bugs. It was a minigame as I remember... Hmmm.

I loved Dragon Quest, too. That's another game I'd love to see added to the PlayStation network as a digital download. I'm generally a big fan of RPGs, so I've gotten into the habit of googling "best RPGs for [console]" and then buying the games I see mentioned most often. It's paid off for me, so far, since that's how I found out about Rogue Galaxy and several others. I'd love to see a sequel for it, someday, if that's within the realm of possibility.

Yep, I do hope that the developers of Rogue Galaxy would make a sequel. I think that the game's ending is open-ended so a part II would be easy to make. They could add more worlds to explore and expand on their insector minigame. It's very addicting. As for googling "best RPGs", I do that too. Lol.
