Anyone bored of their PS4 yet?

Im feeling pretty bored with the ps4 as well. For me its only because there arent many games out yet and i havent really made many friends or i should say i havent made any yet on psn. I believe it will improve with time tough

The console itself is pretty cool but I can see why people might be bored. A lot of the major titles on the PS4 were on the PS3 so there's a good chance you already played them. And you might not be into games like Warframe or DCUO or Resogun. So I can understand the boredom, because honestly the launch titles weren't that great. But the biggies are coming so I foresee spending a lot of time with my Ps4.

Bored? Really? But the good titles aren't here yet, what about Titan Fall and the Witcher 3 and so on? How could he possible be bored already, maybe you should buy him more titles for PS4

I think I know where you're coming from. If I had to guess it's probably just because a few of the other titles got delayed so the library isn't as "full" or well rounded as it should have been. The good thing is that I think a few of them will be getting released by next month so the wait wouldn't have to be too long for the new games to arrive.

I don't see how you can get bored of a piece of hardware, as of yet the PS4 doesn't have a whole lot of games out there right now so that can explain it.

This is true. It's the games you can get bored of although I will say that it seems easier to just bundle everything up as being bored or disappointed in the PS4. Of course I'm not...love my PS4.

Being bored of a PS4 is temporary thing, seeing as how the lineup isn't too great atm. Give it some time.

I'm not bored with my console, just frustrated that when you hop on a TEAM BASED GAME (BF4 for example) that there's NO ONE TALKING!! Maybe it's because of the cheap "headset" that comes with it? I dunno. But I do know that it does get boring playing by "yourself" when there's the opportunity to talk with at least 4 other people if not more. And the ones who do "talk" are the ones who use the PSEye, and all you hear is background noise or really loud music. Guess I really AM getting old when I complain that it's too quiet. Lol.

A lucky guess, your brother has the PlayStation 3 as well. If that's the only console he has then he probably has a new girlfriend. How can anyone get bored with the PlayStation?

Launch games for the PS4 aren't that exciting, besides Killzone. There are a lot of good games coming up, but for now I find myself playing the PS3 more than the PS4. This probably happened when the PS3 first launched as well. It takes a while for more software to launch on the new console.

Of course people are bored...there are only so many games available right now. But with the streaming of older games on the new system, this can definitely work in the favor of PS and get people playing again while they wait for new releases. I think that this is a great way to get people re-engaged with PS4 without breaking the bank and filling the time void.

I personally aren't bored of it however I have only had the console for a couple of weeks. I see why people are, as people have mentioned before. Compared to the PS3 library, it isn't massive. It isn't me complaining but over time with the amount of games being released this year, it will improve and get more people interested. All we need is one game to get everyone hooked. Look at GTA V for example, as soon as I purchased and played it, I never played any other game for a couple of months and I played every day. So I don't think it is the library to blame people need to find that one game to keep everyone hooked. Fifa 14 and NBA 2k14 are the only ones I can think of at the moment.

I'm a little bored with my PS4, but I don't regret buying it. I know that I'll get a ton of use out of my PS4 over the years. I'm just tired of the games that I have and I don't really want any of the other games that are available. By the end of 2014 there will be so many great games released for PS4 though.

Absolutely not! With the incredible addition of Playstation+, I'm never running out of games to play. Outlast this month, Don't Starve last month. Those alone are keeping me going!

No, not yet, but if there are still not many games, then I will stick with my Playstation 3 because I have more PS3 games than Playstation 4 games. However, I think I still enjoy the piece of technology since my PS3 is not working properly, which it's the reason I have purchased the PS4 to find out the difference between these two consoles. the PS4 is a very nice console though, and it's not as much expensive as the PS3 when the PS3 first came out, which was so expensive back then. I am still having a good time with my PS4, but who knows, there aren't still not many games for PS4.

I can imagine, with there being this few games on the market, getting bored of the console and its games is a regular occurrence among owners. You just have to be patient and wait for the next crop of new releases, as the PS4 hasn't really even gotten started yet.

The PS4 scene is starting to pick up. The games are slowly rolling in next month so it's time to get back to the PS4 if you've felt bored with it. This month alone we already got Outlast and Thief is releasing this month too. Not to mention Infamous is releasing next month, these next few months are going to be very exciting.
