Cool. Thanks for the heads up. That's a good price. I will probably stick to the local venues...I don't like purchasing stuff like that from an online store just because if there is a problem I like to be able to address it in person. But I will let some of my more adventurous friends know about it and let them decide if they want to take the chance and spend that much online.

In this neck of the woods, Best Buy has typically had at least 2 or 3 consoles laying around.

I've heard of there being a few PS4s at Best Buy and Walmart here. My friend picked his up last week.

I like buying the majority of my stuff at Gamestop. I have a local outlet that is really friendly and knowledgable so I feel as though I am getting exactly what I need each and everytime I go in there. The staff is great, the warranties are good and they go above and beyond for me as a customer. Totally love the Gamestop here. Can't say that about all of them though. The one in Knoxville is terrible.

Never heard of them personally, so if I were buying a PS4 I wouldn't buy there. I personally bought mine at GameStop, no troubles there.

@novaspeaker I completely agree with you, that's why I only purchase stuff online using Paypal, so if stuff hits the fan I can just open a dispute and get my money back.

I think going through Gamestop is fine if you have a hook up with them. Other than that I wouldn't go through them period or trade in games with them.

That's the only reason I go to Gamestop. Once you have your stuff there's really no reason to even walk back in there until next time.

As long as you're not going into GameStop to trade in you're fine. They're a solid store to pick up your console from.
