What is going to be YOUR system seller?

Well, the PS4 has been out for awhile but the ps3 will probably be the predominant platform of gaming for most of us for a bit longer. A good deal of folk haven't even purchased their playstation 4 yet, seeing no real reason to, wanting to wait for more games or a price drop (perhaps both!). I know I didn't buy my ps3 until several AAA plus games had come out, but my system seller was no doubt Demon Souls.

As for the playstation four, I'm really hyped for Metal Gear Solid V: the Phantom Pain and with reserved expectations, Final Fantasy 15. I'm being VERY careful with how much hype I'm going to give to Square-enix anymore, I think we can all agree that this previous gen was one of the worst for the company once considered an rpg behemoth and bastion of quality. The heavily hyped Final Fantasy 14, FF11 successor, was an unmitigated disaster at launch and required totally rebooting the game, re-evaluating design goals and hiring/firing new people. FF13 was a huge slap in the face to almost all of us loyal Final Fantasy fans as well, 20 hours of straight corridors, boring characters, non-sensical (in a bad way) story, blah blah BLAH.

Still, with what I've seen, I am willing to give Square the benefit of the doubt. I think FF15 looks...fun and I'm actually interested in the plot, since it reminds me of a fantasy themed version of the sopranos, from what I've heard and the cast of characters are at least more appealing than Lightning and co. Nothing has made me really roll my eyes yet but I don't know how I feel about the new DMC meets Matrix battle style. We will have to see.

What are you looking forward to?

Well I got my PS4 almost a week ago and I got it mainly for InFamous: Second Son. That game looks phenomenal to me. Hoping to pick it up tomorrow. Aside from that, no games coming out really entice me much in the near future. Hopefully when E3 comes around, they will announce many more exciting games

I've been a FPS fan for a long time. With that said, "Wolfenstein: The New Order" will most likely be it. It's been about 5 years since the last release of the series, I'm sure everyone is pretty hyped, I know I am.

Thankfully Bethesda has this one, we can all agree that it's a very good company, to say the least.

 

[The Unlosing Ranger]

An exclusive Souls game. Sony should use the Demon's Souls IP. Wouldn't be the same without FROM (who are doing better with multiplatform releases, so I doubt they would go back to exclusive) but Sony's Japan Studio could make a great follow up

Not really systems sellers but games I wanna get:
Wolfenstein,and if it comes on PS4 Last of Us (never had it on PS3) and also if it comes on PS4 maybe GTA V even though I do have that on PS3.
Oh,and even though Im not into racing/driving games like I was in my younger days I would have to get Gran Turismo 7 just to see what Polyphony Digital can do with the PS4's power.

Not really a seller, but the game I'm looking forward to a lot is Planetside 2. It's F2P and I've played it on PC before, but my computer doesn't have the best GPU. I'm also anticipating The Division, but that's not really a PS4 exclusive. I think a lot of people will switch to next-gen when Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out.

I'm seeing lots of mentions for the new Wolfenstein, I totally forgot about that. The videos of it I've seen look really awesome and I thought the website with the "hip" nazi music was really amusing and creative. I'll probably be playing it on my pc though, that's how I generally handle FPS games.

My system seller will be. EA Sports UFC.

I love fighting, and sports games. It is obvious why i would love this game. I would have rather EA Sports release another Fight Night, but EA UFC will have to suffice until they decide to make another Fight night.

I am anxious to play online. The competition is going to be great. I can't wait to see the online game modes to. I hope they add online championships like they did with Fight Night. That was favorite feature.
