Frame rate for you PS4 owners.

How are games running in the PS4? Are they 30fps how most games were in PS3? Or have we finally hit 60fps?

Well, we've hit 60fps.

Battlefield 4 online, Killzone: Shadow Fall and Tomb Raider all run beautifully at 60fps (and maybe inFamous: Second Son is too?)

Although I'm pretty sure Assassin's Creed IV still runs at 30fps.

COD ghosts runs at 60fps, but there are issues with frame drops in multiplayer games. I think thats an Activision/infinity Ward problem tho. They really ignore both PS3 and PS4 since MS pays them to be the main platform, and for the exclusivity deals

I still dont get the 60fps buzz.
I still think 30fps makes games more cinematic, so I prefer it. I think 60fps is good for sport and racing games.

I cant say for sure what exact frame rate I am getting in games, but I can say that I definitely see a difference in frame rate on the PS4 when compared to any PS3 game that I have ever played.

I believe Drive Club will be 1080P but 30fps.

Yeah which I find it odd. racing games need 60fps more than story games such as infamous. and with all the hype for 1080/60fps, this is a very weird move by Evolution.

I'm more interested in The Crew anyway.

Is there any way of measuring FPS? However, I get a constant 30 + FPS on any game, no stuttering at all.

I agree with you that racing games benefit the most from higher frames, but I also like a higher frame rate in first person shooters as well. Other than those 2 genres I don't really care if it's 30 or 60.

It's the most noticeable in BF4 for me. It really depends on what the game's running though. It's most noticeable in racing and FPS. For adventure games or platformers, it's not really that different. Infamous SS was running at 30 FPS and it ran really well.
