It has officially been confirmed that both seasons of Telltale's "The Walking Dead" game will be heading to retail for the PS4 and PS3. Although there is no release date, it is expected to arrive later on this year.

Meanwhile, take a look at the gorgeous box art below:

I'll definitely be picking up the couple seasons of The Walking Dead as I only got up to episode 3 of Season 1. What about you guys and gals?

I think I played a demo or trial a while back from one of these, downloaded from US PSN store I think.
Not my type of gameplay.

Please make there be some way to transfer my data from Seasons 1 and 2 is The Walking Dead if Season 3 is going to be a continuous story.

I'll buy and play through it all again on PS4 if I have to, but I won't be happy about it.

I love both of these stories and have both on my PC so i hope that it runs really good on the PS4 and i hope they make sure that saves move across without any issues but knowing Telltale games, there wont be any issues!

I am happy for those who haven't played those titles on PC yet. Telltale are one the best developers of Adventure games. You guys are going to love it.

I watched my husband play the walking dead game on the ps3. I just have ot start playing, because it looked pretty decent. I really liked the game and the way it was set up. I will get it for the ps4 and play it all the way through. I am glad I have not started walking dead, because now I can get it on the four instead. The wolf among us I never heard of that game, but I hope that it is decent. Thank you for sharing.

Well, I guess that's nice for those that haven't played these, but I already have played Season 1 of TWD and I'm up to Ep3 on Season 2 (man, when the hell is Ep4 gonna come out). I'm also up to Ep4 in Wolf Among Us and the finale is coming out in a couple of days. All of this on PC, too, because I found the 360 version of TWD Season 1 to perform like crap in comparison and I just didn't wanna deal with that, though I hear Season 2 and WAU run better.

Anyway, I wonder if they will upgrade the graphics at all, but I don't really expect them to...

The Walking Dead Season 1 came with my Vita, its the only game I've ever, and will probably ever, Platinum lol I may pick both seasons up for the PS4

I've not played The Wolf Among us though. Could snag that one also.

I have wondered why TellTale always releases games in episodes? All their games are like that, my wife has Back to the Future on the PS3 and she has Tales from Monkey Island on the PC and they're like that.

They've been pretty good about transferring data before now, so I don't see them messing it up now. Well, there's some issues with save data sometimes, but the concept is sound.

I dunno how they would go about using PS3 data for the PS4 version though...

Great news!
I loved playing The Walking Dead's first season on the PC but I haven't touched the second one yet.
I think I might get both on the PS4 so I can transfer my save data to the second one.
I don't know much about the Wolf Among Us but it seems interesting.

The Wolf Among Us is pretty good. Some people like it more than The Walking Dead... I don't but yeah. It's still great

As for the episodic releases... I'm not completely sure, but they have said the the episodic format allows them to take feedback from an episode and apply it to the others. That's the one reason I remember most, but I'm sure they have more reasons than that.

There was also supposed to be something about getting each episode out faster than an entire game but whethet that remains true or not is up for debate you know?

This is really nice actually, I already have Wolf Among Us on my computer but I think everyone should at least try the game out to see if it's something they'd enjoy. I myself like it more than the Walking Dead but that's preference because they are all wonderful games that should be played.
Overall I think this is a great move and I'm glad they're doing this.

It would be fantastic if they were more consistent haha. I quite enjoyed the alternating releases between WAU and TWDS2 each month... while they lasted. The huge delay for WAU Ep2, though? Not so good.

Come to think of it I still actually have to play the other Season Two episodes.

But yeah I believe that is the intention with episodic gaming, although that was Valve's reason behind it...which you know as well as I did not prove to be true.
