The Last of Us is Coming to PlayStation 4

I am sure but the bread and butter of TLOU is the single player game.

and on that i agree one hundred-percent

Take those blinkers off chaps and spend time on the MP. It's Awsome! It's adam sesslers favourite Mp game as well :)

TLOU MP is one of the most underatted Mp going and HUGE fun, and hugely rewarding and special. There's simply no other MP like it. It's one of the few MP games where every is actually playing as a team. The nature of the game demands it. I consider the MP so good i'm thinking of getting TLOU again on the PS4 to play the MP in 60 fps at 1080P.

I never got around to playing the multiplayer aspect, but definitely well come July 30th when I run into the store and purchase TLOU :)

Don't want to sound like a broken record, but tlou Mp is great for many reasons Haze.

1st of all, it works, and works well!
2nd you only need 5 minutes to figure out if you leave your team mates you'll die a lot, so everyone, even complete randoms, tend to stick together
3 the pacing of it is wonderful, it's very very tense, then suddenly loads of action
4 it NEVER gets old creeping up behind someone and smashing their brains out with a crafted 4x4 piece of wood with a pair of scissors on the end! LOLOLOL - Only in the TLOU Mp that one! LOL
5 because ammo is VERY limited you really have to think about your inventory a lot. it's not just about twitch reactions but about tactics and all the tools you have to beat the opposition.

Great! I didn't pick it up for the PS3 so this is a golden opportunity for me. I heard all the great reviews but I've never had the chance to buy it, now I'm not going to miss it.

What's the difference between Day One and Remastered?

Day 1 Edition also includes the Exclusive Survival Pack containing:

Increased Crafting Speed
Increased Healing Speed
9mm Reload Speed Upgrade
Rifle Clip Capacity
Two Skins fro Joel and Ellie
Bonus XP for Multiplayer

Not too sure about the main differences apart from that though :/.

I am going to go ahead and take my PS3 copy into gamespot and pay $25 bucks for the PS4 edition. I have saved so much money by getting games on Steam on sales (as in 10 AAA titles for under $80) that paying $25 for the upgrade seems fair. I was going to wait but I might as well purchase it now. I still feel it is a little soon to play the TLOU since playing it twice less than a year ago but the Gamestop offer is only good for a few more days.

You know...I know I've complained about this in this thread, but honestly after I saw some ads for it, I'm actually really looking to get it myself. Oddly, I've already watched the game and stuff so the story wouldn't be new to me, but for some strange reason I really want to pick it up.

I wasn't going to but after reading so much about it I have changed my mind. It will be worth the extra $$$. It will really bug me if I don't so its of to the store for me this weekend.

To be honest I don't think it is really worth it. The only proper improvements you will notice are the frame rate and resolution. If you have never played the game then yes 100% buy the bloody game but at the moment for me the price isn't justified.

I know, but I never played it on the PS3, so it's not like I got the experience before. I just watched the Two Best Friends playthrough of it.

I actually went out and traded my PS3 version and $25 today at Gamestop for a copy of the new PS4 version. I haven't tried it yet, though, so I can't speak to quality, but at the very least I'll get to try out the DLC.

Ah yes me and my husband are getting this game, but we want the disk version. He really did not want to download it, so we have to go out and get the disk version haha. I played it on the ps3 a little bit, but he did not get to play, so now that it is on the ps4 he is going to sit down and play. I am going to play on the ps4 as well, I am glad that all of you are having fun with the game.

I changed my mind. After reading countless reviews and looking at the video comparison on youtube in 1080p on the TV I would play TLOU on, I decided it is not even worth the $25 to upgrade. I still have a PS3 Slim hooked up to a large screen LED TV and can play it on that when I want to. The majority of people are not seeing much of a difference or noticing it and it was very hard to see much difference on the side by side comparisons.

It is a great game and a masterpiece IMO but I am not into multiplayer and I can play the PS3 version any time I want. I don't plan on getting rid of the 2nd PS3 which my son uses for gaming and my Wife and I use as our BD player so there just does not seem like a point for me to even pay $25 less than a year from now especially since I bought the extra content for the PS3.

If you are coming over from an 360 or missed TLOU on the PS3 then it is a must buy. I personally feel like $30 should be the price point for it myself because Naughty Dog did not have to do that much work to re-master it in 1080p @ 60fps.

I will be preorder Uncharted 4 and any new game in the TLOU universe but I personally feel Naughty Dog is a little greedy on this one and instead of having people turn the game into Gamestop for one week to get a discount, should have given loyal customers the same deal. This is why I never buy digital copies of big games. You cant trade them in or sell them.

I agree, either a trade in or upgrade programme. It wouldn't have been hard to do and they'd have much more people playing the game. Every review I've heard has said that the differences aren't too noticeable and that while the frame rate is good and stable it isn't a massive selling point.

I've spent £40 for the game and £20 for the season pass. I wouldn't mind spending another £15 for an upgrade programme like I did to upgrade Ghosts but £38 for a game I've already played and experienced....nah I'll pass on that.

Oh then definitely look into buying it. I love watching playthroughs of it online seeing people playing it for the first time. Watching there reactions at the sad bits is always interesting to me for some reason, probably because I love the game so much that those moments I can watch again and again and feel hyped.

Yeah I'm really considering watching their play through again even though I've watched it twice already I think. I think I'll pick it up if I can manage to get it at a decent price. Don't want to be paying a ton for it, you know?
