The Warriors

I think that The Warriors is a game by Rockstar that didn't get much attention as Bully and Grand Theft Auto. It told the tale of rival gangs duking it out against each other. What's special about the game back then is that a second player could just hop in and help you in the career mode. It was melee heaven for those who have played it.

I remember playing this a little when my brother had a PS2 years ago. From memory I liked it, but I guess loving the movie helps too

I had to make a quick research on this. Nope, Rockstar is not the developer. Radical Entertainment developed the game and Sierra Entertainment is the publisher. By the way, is there a game on the PS 3 that is similar to The Warriors?

I remember when I was younger and before it's release this game was getting a lot of attention. At the time I was subscribed to GameInformer and they had even done a cover story on the game. Still, I never did actually play the game although I heard it was pretty fun and enjoyable. From what I was told, the highlight of the game was the multiplayer and it was great to be able to team up when completing the campaign.

AH. I'm not sure why I thought it was made by Rockstar ha.

You can get The Warriors on PSN as a PS2 classic. Aside from that I don't really think there is, unless somebody else can think of one.

Imagine what a game like The Warriors would be like with today's graphical capabilities. The game was pretty bridal back in the PS 2 days with facial damage and all that stuff. I hope Rockstar would make another game similar to this. Maybe they could focus on another gang? Another location maybe? There are a lot of possibilities.
