When Will Vita Get Cheaper?

I think that $199 for a Vita, $40 game and a $20ish 8GB memory card is a good deal. That is if they keep making bundles like the Borderlands bundle. There are a lot of used Vitas in my area that are $100 with games on c-list.
I can't imagine the price going down much further than that anytime soon. If you were going buy a new game (and you NEED a memory card) then you are really only paying about $140 for a brand new Vita.

The Vita is a good piece of gaming equipment but the price is too high for what you get. Its a shame really because even if they just came down $25.00 they would make a significant boost in sales of the Vita.

Vita needs another price drop if anyone is going to buy it... It's just not worth the current asking price to be honest..

They will have to drop the prce more than they have already done. I for one have bought the Vita just for the sake of Remote Play.

That is entirely subjective. Do you enjoy handheld consoles? A Nintendo 3DS XL is $180 so I don't see how $200 for the Vita is unreasonable. The "worth" of an object is completely tied up in the interests of the person making that appraisal.

I would pay $200 dollars for it again if something happened to the one I currently own. It is totally worth it to be honest..

Maybe look to a Gamescom announcement.... If Sony doesn't talk about Vita during their conference then to me the console is dead as at E3 they pretty much never mentioned it which is stupid. Hopefully Gamescom will be more Vita-y in what they show but I have massive doubts.

I know that Microsoft has had issues with their cloud service and I haven't ever used any content sharing on the PS 3. I'm a believer in the Vita after using it on a trip that I took with my buddies. It was fun to use and brought me back to my gameboy days.

I seriously think Sony should consider cutting their price significantly on the Vita. I think more people would consider buying it a lot more at a cheaper price, including me. It would be a lot less of a decision if the price were a little bit more reasonable than where it's at now, and I think they could make it back on game sales. That said, do you think Vita's price will still drop, or have they pretty much reached their limit? I'm thinking it would more possibly be the latter since the specs of it are probably expensive and high quality because it plays such high quality games at such a compact size.

Agree with you!
