Western games

I've loved cowboy video games ever since I played the game Gun on my Gamecube. I thought it was a great game and just couldn't stop playing it. I'm wondering if you guys also think there should be more of these type of games than just the few that exist.

Yes. More westerns, please--especially spaghetti westerns! Right now this game has my complete attention.

Does Borderlands count as a western? It seems pretty wetern-y for me. Anyways I played a lot of Red Dead and I really dig western games. Too bad there's really not much going on for westerns when it comes to games. I also really love Wanted that one that mod or whatever it is that came with Half Life.

Red Dead Redemption, the ultimate cowboy game in my opinion. AMAZING open world that is massive. Tons to do, it is one of my favourite games ever. Hopefully a new one comes out for the PS4.

I would count it, yes. It certainly is inspired by Western themes.

My biggest problem with RDR is... the story/main character. Maybe it is because I am used to Clint Eastwood westerns though. It is at any rate the premier western game right now. I still prefer Red Dead Revolver.

I installed a PS2 emulator on my PC and I immediately got the Red Dead Revolver rom. It's pretty good, but I just can't get past the fat guy with the dinamite. No matter what I do, the fat guy just ends up blowing me up.

Red dead redemption's zombie dlc was good. Zombies in a western are amazing.

There are not enough cowboy games I am afraid. If you'd love to play one, I would suggest you to give Read Dead Redemption a go. It's an amazing game. I have heard that they are working on a sequel.

Yeah it feels like it. It's like a Western from another planet, really great game.

Yeah, I LOVED gun but I wasn't really that enthralled with RDR to be honest..

The last western game I played was Call of Juarez, Gunslinger. The game wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. It felt very cartoon like. I really wish they would make a sequel to Gun- I really enjoyed that one.

Well the last western game I played I think was Red Dead Redemption.

We need a sequel or competitor to RDR. It's basically the best western game available at the moment.

BTW, why had I never heard pf Enemy Unforgiven until now???
