For the fallen walkers. You have to kill them in patrol mode only I believe. Not the strike. At least that's how it worked out for me. I did 3 devils lair strikes and got 0 credit for killing the walkers. Did a patrol and killed him, got credit.

I saw this discussed somewhere... might have been on the Bungie forum.. You can get it from the strike but, apparently (I have no confirmed this) you have to land the killing shot on him to get the credit.

But between the Patrol walker, and the Public event walkers on Earth and Venus, shouldn't be too hard to get (the Patrol Walker is easy to solo).

The fallen walker public event on earth happens twice every hour. First around 15 after, and again around 45 after. That such a great easy bounty for xp.

Where is this public event at on earth? Only events I ever get are defend the warset and eliminate the target.

When you spawn in, you have to go all the way through the building to your far right. When you come out into the big open area, that is where the public walker event happens.

It is on Venus on the top left section of the mission select map. The mission description will mention taking out House of Winter's leader. When I get home later I can take a screenshot for you.

@sekelani When you hover over the story missions their title comes up. It's the "Scourge of Winter" one. It's confusing because not all of the bounties give you the mission title.

It definitely was worth ranking up, I don't know if it is worth starting this late into the event though if you haven't yet.
