PlayStation companion app

Anyone try this out? While I was playing with the 2.0 update, I decided to finally sync my phone to my PS4. Even playing around with the app, I started to see some of the cool features that I was missing out on the last month and a half (like turning on and off the PlayStation, using my phone as a keyboard so I don't have to use the analog stick or the touch pad). It was also kind of cool to navigate around the menu using my phone as well. Haven't played around with the second screen feature though. I assume that is dependent on the game so not sure how that works. Anyone else use this feature or has the novelty kind of worn off already?

I haven't tried the second screen feature yet, but I do use this app almost everyday. It is just so easy and convenient.

Same,I just use it as stand alone app pretty much.Just to see who is online and send messages on PSN.

I just actually got this app on my phone last night. I still gotta connect to my PS4 but I really like this app so far. Its convenient and easy to navigate through.

I use it just to see if anyone is online. The message system is cool but last time i checked you can't join parties.

Same. That's what I have been finding myself using it for. So much easier to send a message than using the PS4. Better yet, when I get home from work, I can turn on my PS4 from my car so its ready to game when I walk in the door

I've used it and use it semi regularly because I'm on PS3 a lot and I only get the 100 of my 138 friends online and sometimes some friends will get left out on the load up and I therefore use it to see when someone is coming on

I use the second screen as a keyboard, works great.

You can use the 2nd screen on the playroom. You can draw on your screen and throw it up on the big screen. My daughter loves it.

I have been using it, but find the messages are delayed a lot of times.
