Same here! I'm eagerly waiting for it.
Fortunately for me, I have a friend who just bought a PS4 and he didnt have last gen consoles, so he got Last of Us and going to get GTA V on PS4.
I can play both for free
although I think GTA V worth second time purchase tbh.

Oh man is he in for a treat when he plays both of those on PS4
You only need to check the reviews on PS3 version,and what ever they say there its gonna be better than that on PS4 :Onya

Better in what way besides graphics? I'm a fussy guy when it comes to spending money on games lol.

Well I'm not a GTA fan like some other players, but GTA V blew me away! One of the best games of all time.

- Doubled sight distance
- Increased & dynamic depth of field for all objects
- Hi-res texturization
- 150+ new songs
- Improved particle effects
- Improved wind dynamics (clothes, flags, trees, etc.)
- Realistic fluid dymanics
- Better weather conditions
- Better damage system
- More lighting sources
- Pollution added
- Up to 30 players in one mp session, +2 visitors
- New characters creator and more customization
- 120+ new objects for user created races and missions
- 1st/3rd selectable person shooting mode
- All previous DLC's included
- Rumor Co-op heist missions (coming out shortly after the game launch)

Damn. If you don't mind me asking, what made you skip GTA 4? It was the first one since GTA3 that made my jaw drop. The story was pretty good but damn, New York city looked awesome. So much to do. I understand that style isn't for everyone tho. I'm the kind of gamer that loses massive amounts of time in games like that. I spent 3 straight hours last year, on GTA 5 ps3, trying to rock crawl a custom SUV up the side of one of the mountains. lol. That's ADD for you.
The first person experience alone is worth the price of a second buy, let alone a first.

The timing of the release is perfect. I always take the whole week of thanksgiving off and my wife has to work Monday to Wednesday. 3 days of uninterrupted gaming that only comes once a year for me! It's my own personal Christmas. I'll probably have to do something lame though, like rake the leaves and hang the Christmas lights. Damn you, domestication!
