Just picked up GTA

Okay guys. I took the bait and got this game

Pretty happy with my purchase. I saw the gameplay and had to try it. ill give y'all a review when I start this game. Unfortunately I'm at work.

I played for a couple months on ps3 and fortunately don't really remember much. (Torched a few braincells in my day) Been playing for about 2 hours now and am loving it. The first person takes a bit to get used to, kind of got seasick for a bit, but now it's to where I'm enjoying it. It definitely makes the game more personal and makes you feel as if you are really a part of this living, breathing world. The 1 mil in bonus credits didn't hurt either!

I didn't think that using the speaker on the DS4, for phone calls, would be that big of a deal. It's a pretty cool feature though. Nothing you NEED but definitely a nice way of using that extra hardware. I also like changing the stations via the touchpad. Was it difficult before? No, but its another small advantage to the DS4. Very easy to make a quick swipe when you want to change it up. I've spent so much time checking out the city that I've barely scratched the story after 3 hours. Great fun. The experience in first person is addicting. Gotta put it down before I get no sleep and am useless at work tomorrow.

The first person was always something from when GTAIII came out that I wished was included. Not gonna lie, I can see how after playing GTA for years in third person how it would take a lot to get used to. Glad it's working because its something I'd like to see in the next installment

How the FPS TPS thing works? can you switch in an instant or you have to go to menu and do stuff?

The fps is good. Very smooth. It may be 60FPS. NO LAG at all. you press the middle button on the dual shock 4 to switch camera views. Very quick and handy.
The first person shooter view is nice but at times annoying cause it competes with other first person shooters, and obviously it doesn't come close.its a good start but I prefer 3rd person view.
PS. This is my first time playing GTA 5.

This game really rocks. Both SP and MP are great. I played it on X360 and I can tell the new GTA5 for PS4 contains tons of improvements. It's definately a must have, imho.

On my little review.
The game is beautiful. The graphics, story and transition between characters is amazing. I've seen previous videos of this game on the PS3 and boy have they pushed the boundaries with the graphics, gameplay and cool features the ps4 entails.
The first thing that attracted me to this game was the story...
It's awesome, you play the character of 2 men( I think since I just started it last night) who are gangsters and the story unfolds there after. I don't want to spoil it for the people who haven't played it but yeah that's how it begins.
As most of us know it's open world and there is a lot of customisation.
If y'all have smartphones get this app called ifruit, it lets you customise your character and objects has you progress in the game. Just a few moments ago I trained my dog on my iPhone then when I got into my game, the training syncs automatically to my dog. This works for everything else that is customisable.
Honestly I can't say anything bad about this game.

Yes, about the whole FPS thing. It's cool. Although I don't ever use it.
I have plenty shooting games for that so it doesn't do anything for me. I prefer seeing my character all geared up..... It may work for other people though....
The story again is amazing... It runs super smooth with no lag or glitches at all.
I'd honestly give this game a 10/10.
I can honestly say this game is on par with the last of us. It deserves it mark.
