Can someone give a review of their experience with this game?

I've seen this game a lot in the stores and quite frankly I'm intrigued about this game. I've been reading reviews for this game and so far it's all mixed and mostly scores average about 3 out of 5 stars on sites. Have you played this game already? Is it worth purchasing? I'm kind of thinking about buying a copy.

So coincidental as I finished this game last night and posted my "thoughts" in another thread. So I'll just copy and paste my opinion below:

Murdered: Soul Suspect - 9/10 - Really am surprised as I heard a lot of negative things about this game but I found it excellent. The story really grabbed me, it was different to a lot of games lately and for once, collecting collectables actually was fun and added to the story. It's a little on the short side but for me it was short and sweet. I think I'll always be in the minority for this game, but hey! Grabbed the platinum too so yes, enjoyed it alot

Haze, I have this game too. I played it for a while, reaching more or less 50% of the story. Then other new games distracted me and I temporary suspended. Now I do not remember anything about the story, or almost. Do you suggest to begin a new game or to continue and finish it? I ask because, since the game developes in a lot of logical consequences, the fact I forgot everything might be a too difficult challenge. Another question: is platinum hard to get? Ty

I would say start again, as the game really isn't long at all so you would catch up in no time. And I did get the platinum, so in saying that - if I got the platinum for it, then anybody can. From memory, the only trophies that require hard work are the collectibles.
