Who is grabbing this game tomorrow?

Hey guys I've been a fan of batman for years and I'm so exited about the release for this game tomorrow in Australia.
Who will be grabbing this game?

I will be swinging by BestBuy after work today to pick up a copy. I enjoyed the series and looking forward to a bigger map. Could care less about the bat mobile, that part really makes no sense to me. Batman is anti gun and now he is driving around with a tank. Either way, look forward to gliding around gotham this evening!

Let us know how you find it guys! Reckon it'll be great :)

I think it will be pretty much the same as the other games, just better graphics. I would imagine controls will be almost identical. I am looking forward to the larger map, the others always felt so small.

I think the combat might be similar but from the looks of the trailers, everything looks so new and fresh.

I won't be picking it up the now because I've got a lot on my plate in terms of real life but once I have some free time on the horizons I'll be gaming again.

I picked it up, but I'm having a hard time deciding to start playing it. I have so much of the Witcher left and I've been really enjoying the game.

Started playing this game yesterday. Looks great, feels like the past batman games with some tweaks and slight changes. Visually great with improved graphics. Not a fan of the driving and the supposed "non lethal" bat mobile. Maybe I just keep going in circles but the city feels very small when driving around it. Just did the intro stuff and roamed around beating some people up getting familiar with the controls. Pretty much identical fighting to previous games, which is not a bad thing.

The driving I'm having a bit of a rough time adapting as it feels very... loose? Aside from that though, I got around to finally starting this game this afternoon. Only 5% into it but it has made a very good first impression :)

It is a really good game, I think I am just about done the main story. Looks fantastic, top quality. There is nothing new here though, this is basically he same as the previous batman games, aside from the batmobile that magically kills no one.

A few little additions, there are medics so when you are doing all that stealth stuff, if you do not get rid of the medics they help their people up. I like it, but really easy once I figured out what was going on to take them out first.

Okay guys I've been playing this game the whole weekend and still getting used to the controls. I've never played any of the previous Batmans, so I can't compare.

First thing I've noticed is the combat is similar to Shadow of mordor, you become invincible if you can tap the triangle button( PlayStation 4) on time before your opponent tries to hurt you which is the counter attack. . It's all about timing and batman strikes everywhere with cool combos mixed with awesome weaponry.
The graphics are really good... Attention to detail is everywhere combined with stricking colours which make Gotham look so realistic.

I've tried doing side missions and man they are so boring...the most difficult thing is there is no location set for these side missions, you gotta look around till you find the mission. Besides that small flaw, to avoid spoilers, in certain situations in the game you are given the honour of using different superheroes which is so cool in combat.

I guess I've only scrapped the surface, but this game so far is awesome.....
Oh and I forgot to mention the batmobile whoo hoo!
It's a monster. Not only is it a car, but a..........
Mmm.... Let me not spoil it.......
Go and get this game guys!

I had the same problem lol. The witcher was brilliant. Luckily I finish it before batman came out. Well, a day before it came out lol, excluding the side quests

Well when Arkham Asylum came out, basically a lot of games starting using the same fighting mechanics, Shadow of Mordor is definitely borrowing its mechanics. That's not a bad thing though as the mechanic is almost perfect.

Now I don't know if it is just me, but the jump scares are really ramped up in this game. I jumped so far out of my seat when I saw a certain... "Bat" as I was just free-roaming.

I also started to play this game. I have selected the hard difficulty mode and... ehm... I am probably too old to handle it... lol!!

Btw... where is Catwoman? :grin

The Riddler has her. When you do his side quest stuff you find out he has her captive with a collar that will explode on her neck unless you do these challenges. I have only done the first one. I am going through the story mode again. Love these games, but they are always way to short.

The Riddler, eh? :Onya

With the Season Pass, or by purchasing each DLC, we will have the chance to play more hours with Batman and also with Batgirl, for the first time:

Looks interesting...

Had not heard anything about that. I think it was the last one there was a DLC with Nightwing, but it was a specific mission in a building, you could not go free roaming around Gotham. Would be cool for a whole other story with Batgirl.

From what I have understood, this DLC is very similar to the one with Catwoman, in Arkham City on PS3/X360. The DLC on PS3 added some spots to the map of Gotham where you could switch character, from Bat to Cat and viceversa. Was cool... :grin

DLC upgrade:
The Batgirl DLC will debut on July 14th for players who purchased the Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass. Everyone else will have to wait until July 21st to purchase it.
