Looking for enthusiastic forum moderators!

Hey Everyone,

We're going to be making a big change soon and we're ramping up our awesome team of moderators for the *super secret launch* coming up. We realize we are going to need some more help. That's where you come in. So if you love video games and want to become a huge part of a growing community, we could definitely use your help.

Description:

• Work with Super Moderators Managers to handle moderation on the forums
• Respond to threads and assist members if they need help with something on the site
• Keep a daily presence. Active posting.
• Filter and delete spam posts
• Remove any inappropriate threads (bad language, etc.)

Requirements:

• Active member for at least 1 months (new)
• Must have an outgoing personality and be a team player
• Very Good written and oral communication skills
• Must use proper grammar and punctuation
• An ability to work with a variety of personalities
• A love of PlayStation!

I'd like to nominate myself for this spot, as my discussion with Haze, I would be an incredibly active member and would happily assist with the day to day running mechanics of the site. I've had a ton of experience moderating before and have also been admin for 2 invasion free and zeta board forums. I have a love of playstation, naturally, and I consider myself pretty happy-going and helpful to others. I also think I'd do rather well working with the other moderators. Regards, Adam.

Well I plan to stick around much longer then a month, most active members are brand new, and it might take 3 or so weeks to decide.

You are right. You need to be a member for at least 1 month. But you can still apply. We will just be keeping an eye out, making sure they stick to the guidelines, and if the person is still interested after the month, we will go from there

Unfortunately, as we said with Mudgee, we'll have to wait until you've been a member for at least 1 month and we'll go from there.

May I also make a suggestion? A mod drive is great and all but how about you also just ask a member,or members,via PM when the times if they would like to mod?
Im sure you guys already have an eye on certain members anyway,regardless whether they have applied here or not.

Yeah I've often thought about that, but really we may send a PM to a member that seems like "moderator-material" but they may just be happier to be a regular member. This way, the members interested in being a Mod can see this thread and post their interest, so then we can take them into consideration.

Hey,

I was wondering are you guys still looking for moderators? If so, later on once I do meet all the requirements I would like to join the team if possible. I've never moderated a gaming forum before and since I'll be getting a playstation 4 very soon (getting one for Christmas) I want to get invested into a gaming forum and help one grow. I've moderated Vbulletin forums before so I do know how to moderate and use the moderation tools etc.

OK,since adding KN1GHTMARE and KMJ_84 as moderators we are not looking for anymore at this time ,however we still always keep an eye out for future potentionals.
Also, depending on how the forum further develops and how busy it becomes,this topic may also be reopened at any time.
