Hello, need some help.........
So, my PS4 is out of warranty, I don't play games enough to justify paying more money to fix a defected console. I've had my PS4 for a year and half, and for the past month now its a paper weight, bc it will not connect to my TV, and I'm getting the "blinking blue light of death". It blinks blue and then after several minutes it shuts off. I really want this thing fixed but since Sony won't own up to their crappy consoles (its happened to way to many people), I'm on my own. any ideas?
I called a local console repair place and they told me it sounds like the internal power supply. I've tried different tv's, HDMI cables. I've tried many different things and nothing works.
Today I saw online that some dude applied pressure with his foot to the right top side of the console, and it worked for him. I noticed that he was having similar problems with the blinking blue light. Many people in the comment bar said that the pressure method worked perfectly. So, I thought it was crazy and would never stand on the system that I paid 400 bucks for. I decided to apply pressure with my hand to the top right side of the console, while turning it on and my blinking blue light went to white and it connected to the TV, I removed my hand and it lost signal to the TV. Could this be the power supply? I just don't understand why applying pressure would correct it, any help!!
I just need to know what part i need to replace, and i can do it myself, since its out of warranty.
thanks!
