Console fanboys Rant

Hey everyone, it is Jack here and I would like to address a problem that has been plaguing the gaming community, console fanboys. These children are the growing part of the gaming community that endlessly praise their own preferred platform of choice while attacking others who have different preferences.

These fanboys are endlessly making many stupid claims about the other company and calling it complete crap or just terrible just by overexaggerating the flaws on their sides. Well guess what f***heads, none of the companies are perfect, they are all equally as flawed as eachother, saying which one is worse than the other is utterely laughable, but this s**t has been going on for decades.

Why can't we all just mind our own opinions to our different platforms and just accept that there are other platforms of different people's choices? I don't see the Movie community as cancerous with fanboys as with gaming, so what makes the gaming community that one exception? Is it because gaming is becoming more mainstream and popular? IDK.

By the sounds of these fanboys, they all think it would be best if Sony or Microsoft were to stop making consoles and just leave the market for the other side to take over. No, if Microsoft or Sony left the market, it would be nothing but bad for consumers all around the world. Without competition, prices go up, the rules of corporation are f**ked up, and the other company has full control and can do whatever the hell they want. I mean, I don't want to spend $100 for the next Kingdom Hearts game.

Better make more threads to bypass 30 posts in order to post my story. It is reliant on the music to show the atmosphere and I can't put links until I do so.

Because many people feel the necessity to defend and support their own decisions, often in the wrong way. Many people are not happy just by winning, they need to humble their opponents. The world 2.0 brought a new sickness: the disease of boredom. And the so called social networks are the perfect amplifier.

The solution? Go and buy both consoles :grin

You know what, I am just going to put this into one post here since it is not enough substance to talk about:

PC Master Race fanboys are just 13-year old trolls who go online and never shut up about how great their platform is compared to consoles. But guess what PC fanboys, nobody cares. NOBODY F**KING CARES, so just grow the f**k up out of your basement.

Also, many of the Sony fanboys that pick on other microsoft and nintendo fans saying that they lost the console wars just because it was the power of the ps4.... Power never really mattered in the first place for a console to succeed. To me (and pretty much other average consumers) the games on the Xbox one and the ps4 look the same. Sure, go ahead and take a magnifying glass to see how the Xbox One is weaker than the ps4, but it is only a slight difference. SLIGHT DIFFERENCE, other than that, nobody cares about this graphical contrast. What makes a console good is how easy it is to develop games on it for the developers to put in it, thus having a stronger line-up and magnet attraction towards those games.

The Wii U failed not because of power (Honestly, I don't think the system would sell any better even with the graphical power). It was because of how hard it was to make games on it and how poorly advertised it was, thus it did not draw much attention. So in the end, its not about the power, its about the games, thats what made the ps2 the best console of all time even though it was the weakest of the 6th generation (not counting the Dreamcast because that system was dead before the the main 3 companies stepped inside the generation)

pc has always been better, and its a fact. i own all 3 consoles and find myself playing pc more. pc master race is a simple meme and it exsists because of people like you that think it isnt a joke

I agree. :Onya

There is also the friendliness of the user interface to consider, how easy is to learn it and to use it.
The compatibility of old games with new consoles is also important imo. PS3 games can not be used on the PS4: of course they need to sell remastered versions, but this sucks. Not sure, but I think Microsoft didn't use the same trick with the XOne.

I use my PC for gaming too, but only with one game, a Flight Simulator. The PC has a special configuration that can't be produced with a console.

About 13 years old trolls, hey they're just kids. Time will calm them down, I'm sure.
The real problem with such kind of gamers are their parents, imo. Example: the game GTA 5 Online is full of those kids, really full. The game is 18+ only and recently Rockstar upgraded the gameplay with the possibility to buy laboratories in order to produce weed, cocaine, amphetamine and other curious stuffs. I have never let my kids play GTA5 but I think I am one of the few... Too many kids are playing games for adults nowadays.
