Button R3?

I'm very new to gaming and just got my PS4. While playing Madden NFL 16, one of the sceans said to press button R3 on the controller. I can'ta find that button. Can someone tell what I should do or where it is on the controller.

R3 is the right thumb stick. When it says to press R3, you push down on the thumb stick. L3 is the same thing
