I set up my account on PSN on the website and added my child.
Started setting up PS5 and when it came to accounts I tried the "existing account" login using the details for the child account.
It failed to recognise that. I then found that it had triggered a password reset as I had an email for that.
I changed the password online and tried logging in again on the PS5. This time it said "Your account has been permanently disabled"!
My boy was wanting to get going so I carried on with the setup which created a "local" account for him.
I have mailed support asking them to unlock the PSN account.
When that happens can I link his local account to it? (He has game progress etc that I don't want him to lose by starting the account process again on the PS5.)
