So, basically I don't own a PS5, and wanted one mainly for Miles Morales. Then, they dropped the PC version and now I play that. I bought a used DualSense for about 50 bucks so that I could use haptics and stuff, but I can't use it wirelessly. I don't know why, it turns on and pairs fine, and then about 2 seconds later it just turns off. Apparently you have to connect it to it's "home ps5" or something, but I can't because I got it used. It also didn't come with a cable so I'm just using a spare USB-A to C cable that I have, but that seems to be fine, because as long as I'm playing wired, everything works great. Can you try and help me since I don't want to pay for repairs?

Update the console to the latest version.
Update the controller.

The warranty doesn't cover used controller anyway. You should've bought it brand new.

Next time, don't buy used stuff. Not regarding electronics, anyway.

So, the controller is up to date and still doesn't work? I don't know what to tell ya, bro.

Because one of the updates allows the DualSense to be "compatible" with PC.

Don't expect every Sony game to arrive on PC. There are some exceptions, I'm guessing. And moreover, each Sony game will have at least one year "shelf-life" before being released to PC.

Yeah I know, I'm mostly just using it for spiderman and stuff, I guess I probably shouldn't have gotten it used. Also, I got DSX, and it says that it's at 5% and it's "Discharging", I've never even heard of that, so I guess it's now a fully wired controller :/

AH! I just bought a new charger and it worked!
