Good, cheap online games?

I have been playing MW2 onlinn with a couple of my friend for about 2 years now. We have gotten pretty much all we can out of this now and it is getting boring and repetitive. What games are good for multiple players online (Not just for being a good game but also just to mess about) and are very cheap to buy?

We also play GTA IV occasionally and this is perfect except for the online being pretty dreadful now with broken lobbies and long load times.


Any ideas?

Im not sure but what about BF1943? I havent gone online to check it people are still playing that though.

That games almost dead now, very little activity. I absolutely loved it, tried bf1943 a month ago and couldn't find players to connect with.

OK...I had fun with too early on. Simple set up's but was fun.

For only 3 maps it was quite enjoyable, especially the aerial one.

Yes BF1943 is awesome, it is definitely better than BF3. You have all of the weapons from the start so the game is perfectly balanced. There's no silly progression or unlock system, you just get into the game. Pick your class and you play straight away. This is how first person shooters should be, no one has an unfair advantage because they have better weapons than you and it all comes down to skill. The online community is fairly small but also quite active so do give it a shot.

I never played BF1943 since i haven't been into Battlefield for very long a game which was really fun was Mag it had a kinda small community about 1000 players but its pretty fun the games can hold up to like 100+ people but its really enjoyable you get pretty good guns to start and you can unlock stuff its boss if you have some spare cash.
