What HD Remakes Would You Like To See?

Those with a PS3 are probably aware that they have been making HD remakes of various PS2 games to play on PS3. Are there any games in particular that you want them to remake and why?

Most of the ones I really wanted are either already out or coming out soon. These were the Jak and Daxter and Kingdom Hearts series.

Remakes of the Final Fantasy games (especially 7) would be pretty cool as well but I don't know if I would play them. I would also really like to see remakes of the Dark Cloud games because I've wanted to play them for a while now but I don't have a PS2.

I did actually hear a rumour of a HD version of the first CoD Modern Warfare on PS4.
But as for what Id actually like...dunno really.

I actually meant remakes from PS1-2 for PS3, then I realised there was already a thread for it (my bad).

As for PS3 games to be remade for PS4, here are a few off the top of my head:
- Uncharted series (bound to happen, really)
- The Last of Us
- Heavy Rain
- Little Big Planet series

It's called GTA V.
Jokes aside, i can't wait for some people to complain that GTA V isn't GTA: San Andreas, and then be sad too because it isn't and i really like that game so much and have a lot of memories of it.

But if there is one HD remake that i would pre-order instantly would be an Ace Combat HD Collection, even more after Namco just decided to make a free to play game. And if it was made by bluepoint, i would personally go to their offices and throw them the cash in bills of 1$, so it would seem that it was a lot of money.

I would love to see the .hack series get some love. But that doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon.

I feel as if I hope for more HD remakes than I do new games. Anyways I think I mentioned in another thread that I loved the Dark Cloud series so I would obviously love an HD remake of that game.

A few others would be

- Gauntlet Dark Legacy
- Kingdom Hearts 2 (I know 1.5 is coming out in September)
- San Andreas
- Tony Hawk's Underground

I can't think of any others at the moment but there are hundreds that I would like to play again in HD with trophy support.

Oh my gosh, Kingdom Hearts 2 and Gaunlet Dark Legacy would be AWESOME. I think redoing any old AAA titles like FF, Kingdom Hearts, Metal Gear, etc, will do them good.

I would love to see Twisted Metal and Warhawk rebooted proper on the PS4. Both games have cult followings and did not get the attention they deserved on the PS3. Either could be break out games again if done right.

The two HD remakes i would love to see would be Final Fantasy XII and Star Ocean: Till The End of Time. Both of those are two of my favorite games that were released on the PS2. I'm a big fan of JRPG's, so these games are basically perfect for me. If I only could choose one however, I would have to go with Star Ocean. The game is just massive, as it was orginally released on two disc and the battle system is amazing.

I'd say that Heavy Rain's technology isn't worth rebooting yet. It's hard to do an "HD remake" on a game that was already about as high tech as you could get at the time. I think it's going to take developers at least a few years to really find the full potential of the PS4, so PS3 remakes won't be as abundant as you might think. You have to remember that the Ps2 was out for a very long time before we saw HD remakes coming around.

If they were to do another "collection", it'd be nice to see a Ratchet and Clank collection that includes ALL the R&C titles, including Crack in Time and Future Tools. The Ps2 collection was nice, but it'd be good to have a "legacy collection" like they did with Metal Gear.

The only game I can think of (since pretty much everything I'm interested in has been/will be released) is Final Fantasy XII. That's just a pipe dream, though. It has taken Square a very long time to remake FFFX and FFX-II, so I can only imagine how long it would take them to remake FFXII. It isn't something I necessarily crave, either, since the game still looks beautiful. But I am looking forward to playing FFX and FFX-II in HD.

I want HD remakes of the awesome Onimusha games. Other than that, I would love to see the Devil May Cry HD Collection ported to Vita! Man, that would be simply EXCELLENT.

I want to see The Godfather remade in HD. The graphics were pretty good in its original form and a revamp can make it so much more aesthetically pleasing.

Aren't both Godfather games on the 360 and PS3? I'm sure they're at least on the 360. So I guess there's already an HD version of The Godfather, but it's obviously not an all-out remake. It's just an HD version like most HD collections are.

GTA Sa Andreas is my all time favourite game. I played it for hours on end on my original Xbox. It was so much fun, I can only hope GTA V matches it.

The atmosphere and feel that game created for me is still unmatched.

That would be pretty cool, but they would have to release at least 2 different collections seeing how many games there are in the series. But most likely is that they would be Japan-only, just like the fighting game that came out.
