The Mudgee Review

I've thought to myself, Adam, you are somewhat intelligent and can formulate proper sentence structure. I'll create a bi-monthly review on a game that people either suggest to me, or I do myself. Of course I'll make my reviews as thorough and well-structured as possible and I'll leave out the bias. One day, maybe I'll be crowned this forums 'regular reviewer'. Obviously the thread will be open for people to discuss and agree/disagree with my remarks. Most importantly however, perhaps if I can even help one person out there in deciding whether or not to buy a game, then I've done my job. Fin.

You'll probably convince me to buy the game if you write the review. If you may not know me, I'm the person that looks for reviews before buying things. This can range from games to consoles, and I get convinced very easily, so if you do rate a game anything above 7, I will most likely buy it. I'll be looking forward to your reviews

Awesome idea. Look forward to your reviews Adam. Question, will you just be reviewing PS4 games or will you be starting reviewing PS3 games soon? (I assumed PS4 games since you posted in the PS4 section)

well i would happily do a few ps3 games before ps4 comes out,
and since i'm one of the few (from what ive read) getting the ps4 upon release, i'll happily review games, without spoilers for those who are yet to buy it. Hopefully, if I can aid people in their decision making then i've done my job successfully

Seriously, I do look forward to your reviews. I hope that you make them as quirky as possible too so that we would enjoy reading them. If possible, could you do a video review once in a while too?

I would say a bit of both. A video review would be great and maybe a small written review to go with it?

Definitely agree with lindbergh about making the reviews quirky. That would be an added bonus and would perhaps stand out from the rest

I think what would be really cool, and this is just my opinion, is if you give us an article of a game pre-release - telling us your thoughts, what you hope to see, how you think it will turn out, certain features you feel will be good, even maybe some predictions? - and then follow it up when you've played the game from start to finish with the review, looking back at what you said about the game and comparing it to your full review. Did it turn out how you thought it would? Were certain features that failed your expectations? etc.

Would be great to read and compare your thoughts from before the release and after

Also, I would avoid giving a score like 7, 8.5, etc. I'd go with a unique system. Something like Good, Bad, Ugly. Good being a must play/buy, bad being below average, ugly being do not play! Avoid like the plague.
