Has anybody played Alien: Isolation yet? What did you think?

Hayman, the Resi 2 comparison is very apt. As with that game a lot of it is spent backtracking, doing kind of basic tasks and not really fighting anything. Except that this is more like Resi 3 in that every once in a while a thing will turn up that will probably kill you. I really want to...

Has anybody played Alien: Isolation yet? What did you think?

I regret paying full price which was £50 here in the UK. Personally I wouldn't want anyone paying more than £25 for it.

Has anybody played Alien: Isolation yet? What did you think?

Also, the missions are sort of rubbish. At one point you have to stealth your way to a terminal to send out a message. Except that you get a message saying all comms are blocked cos the station is in lockdown. So what do you do? Stealth your way to another terminal that is working. Huh...

Has anybody played Alien: Isolation yet? What did you think?

It is kind of scary. Wandering around helpless in dark corridors 15 mins away from your last save point is never going to be a walk in the park. It is dark, there are long shadows, death can come from anywhere. Thing is, it's all a bit heavy-handed. There are times where you feel like...

Has anybody played Alien: Isolation yet? What did you think?

Four hours in and this needs to get much, much better. Positives: feels like Alien. Amy is an excellent character. Negatives: good lord it is dull. I've only played for four hours but in that time all I've done is wander around interacting with switches and terminals. I had one battle...

    Hello PS4FORUM poppets

Cheers guys. I'm mostly into indies - currently Rogue Legacy and Futuridium are occupying my time - but Mordor is the best full retail I've played so far and I've got Alien Isolation up and running right now. It had better be good or I might die.

Top 25 PS Vita games according to IGN

Odd list. Still Rogue Legacy and Super Stardust deserve high placings for sure. Luftrausers shouldn't be on that list. It's fun and nice and quick to play but it has a stunning difficulty curve that puts a lot of people off after a while.

    Hello PS4FORUM poppets

I'm Blucey. PS4 and Vita owner. I tend to favour indie titles over the big releases and will play almost anything. Currently running a little PS4 site of my own and really enjoying the PS4 having come from the 360 where I was a total achievements whore. Enjoying playing for fun these days.

    Most Underrated Game On PS1

Tenchu. It got pretty poor reviews when it came out but it's the best stealth game ever made. The draw distance is pretty bad but no other game has as much atmosphere, tension or downright coolness.

    Rogue Legacy is ACE

This game is the one. I'm stupidly addicted to it whilst being simultaneously rubbish at it. Anyone got any decent tips? I'm sort of feeling like the Barbarian is the only really good class but the rest at least aren't awful.
