Top 25 PS Vita games according to IGN

Just came across this article on ign about the top 25 PS Vita games and it actually surprises me that PS Vita hasn't been doing well. People say that part of the reason for this is that Vita just doesn't have enough games. If list is anything to go buy the Vita has enough good games to keep everyone happy.

The rant aside, do you agree with list? What are your favorite games on the Vita? Please tell me that I am not the only one who thinks that PS All Stars Battle Royale was an awesome idea, even if it was something of a Super Smash Bros. rip off.

It's not doing well because everybody and their mother plays those free games with ads on their phones. They rather spend over $600 for an iPhone (actually more when paying a monthly fee) than buy a Vita plus a cheaper Android phone that can do everything an iPhone does. They should do what they feel like but I feel it's a pity that handheld gaming now seems to become a niche market.

I've only played three games: Assassin's Creed Liberation, Need for speed Most Wanted and Gravity rush. So I really can't judge IGN's top 25 as Gravity Rush is the only one I played. Gravity Rush is the most original of the three but overall I have enjoyed AC and NFS more. So yeah I would place those above Gravity Rush.

Probably will pick up Killzone and Little big planet next. As I don't have much game time I'd rather use it to play the triple A titles rather than indie titles I don't know.

It's kind of sad to see Gravity Rush only at #25, since it's one of the Vita's biggest exclusives, a new IP and pretty unique. Oh well. Persona 4 Golden is awesome. Dunno if I would say it's the #1 personally, but I do love it.

You're not alone. I think it was a great idea and it was a great game. Granted it gets a bit tedious and the novelty wears off. But I do hope they get around to making a sequel someday in the future.

I'm gonna third that. It's pretty fun. It has similarities to Smash, but people got too dumb and annoying with the comparisons. When you get into it, you realize it plays very differently. It even feels more like a traditional fighter than Smash.

Yeah that was one thing people refused to look at. Yes, the idea was similar. Hell it was the same damn idea of throwing everyone into just one game but the two games were somewhat different in gameplay. Even if they weren't, one can argue about pretty much all fighting games being somewhat similar.

...and really who wouldn't want to pit Kratos against Big Daddy and just go crazy with the idea.

I think it's a pretty accurate list, but there is a couple games that don't deserve to be up there but thats just my opinnion.

I haven't played many of the games included in the list but I would say that so far, I've really enjoyed Persona 4. I couldn't say it's number one as I haven't really played many games on Vita. I'd also agree that PS All Stars Battle Royale is fantastic! I'd recommend it to anyone with a Vita.

Damn, that's like the entire library of Vita games right there. But seriously, we need more quality titles and we need them fast.

I see some good titles on that list, but I don't see any games that made me say "I NEED THAT" and that's the main problem is the Vita and gaming in general. Really good titles are few and far between, and with the Vita, something that allows you prolonged game play/multi-player would cause this thing to explode. The world of handheld online play is untapped and I can't figured out why exactly that is. People love to game and people are always on the move, so how come this isn't an idea that's being pushed hard by the big companies? Their would be so many more sales if they'd just expand their product to handle online capabilities

Odd list. Still Rogue Legacy and Super Stardust deserve high placings for sure.

Luftrausers shouldn't be on that list. It's fun and nice and quick to play but it has a stunning difficulty curve that puts a lot of people off after a while.
