I have a regular non-smartphone kind of phone. I honestly don't remember what it's called. I don't actually like phones all that much, so I tend not to spend a lot on them-- which is why mine's kind of crappy and behind-the-times. ;)

Has anyone played one of the 3DS games that has a 3D option? I never have, but I'm really interested in what it would be like to play a game in 3D. Was it really weird? Difficult? Entertaining beyond all belief?

I haven't had any major problems like that with my iPods, so I never have. Do you have an Apple store near you? You could take it into there and see if they can fix it.

Apparently there was another hacker attempt on PSN yesterday(?)! Was anyone here affected? People who were affected should have gotten an email. I didn't get one, so I assume nothing happened to my account.

I think I played one of the Army Men games, once! I don't remember too much about it, though. Wasn't it influenced by Toy Story or something like that?

Think of a tablet as basically like a small computer monitor, with a touchscreen instead of a keyboard. You can do most (or all, maybe) of the things you do on a computer on a tablet, including games, videos, and typing stuff.

Did they do anything when the outage first happened? Normally when something like that goes on the company credits you money/time/something. If they didn't do anything back then, then I agree that this thing happening now is to try and make up for that.

I've been wanting more and more to get a tablet, especially since they seem to be decently-priced now compared to a few years ago. The Galaxy Tab looks really good, for instance! Does anyone here have a tablet? Do you find it useful?

I agree with Jenny. I think gaming on a tablet is more of a sideline kind of thing, rather than something you'd buy specifically to play games on.

I agree, the newer Spyro games just aren't as good as the originals. I think it's because of the gameplay, mostly-- don't you think it's harder to do stuff in the newer games than in the older ones?

"A long period of time" as in, "more than an hour." I don't think it's that unusual to play a game for more than an hour, do you?

Has anyone played this? It's a sequel to American McGee's Alice, which I never played but have heard good things about. Alice: Madness Returns came out in June, and I'm kind of tempted to buy it. Do I need to have played the first one before playing this one, though?

I think most "hardcore" gamers don't like the Wii because it's aimed more at the casual gamer. It's meant to draw in people who wouldn't normally play a video game, so it's full of easy, forgettable-but-enjoyable games. The PS3/Xbox/etc., however, have more "hardcore" games so of course the...

That would be neat! One reason why I don't like downloading digital-only games is because I worry about something crashing, or I upgrade consoles and it's gone. If I had an off-site backup of my games (with saves!), linked to a credit card or something, I'd be less worried!

Same here! I know not everyone who has a headset is a bully, but so many of them are that it's just easier to stay away.

I think the Lite is easier to hold for long periods of time, as it's lighter and there isn't a weird ridge thing right where you hands go.

I've got Sims 3 for my iPhone and I really like it. I also got the World Adventure expansion pack (I think that's what it's called, anyway), but I haven't played it yet. I really want to try out the Medieval one as well, but I don't think it's available for the iPhone yet, is it?

Exciting! I'm kind of behind on the Ratchet and Clank games, but that won't stop me from playing this one! It's such a fun series!

I think I remember playing this game back when it first came out for the PS2, but it's been ages since then. And now it's available for the Playstation Network! Yay!
