Andrew House: PS4 sold through 2.1 million units worldwide as of 12/1, 700K in EU/AU

This is all too impressive. These numbers will only grow for Christmas/Boxing Day too. As early as it is for this type of speculation, this might be the most bought console ever made.

PS4 loses Black Friday console war

I would say PS4 lost the battle; the war is years from over....but that's just me being picky. I think we are seeing the fruits of Microsoft's fervent marketing. There is another huge sales rush coming this Christmas, so there is another stage for Sony to gain ground. Is there a site that...

South Park Parodies PS4 & Xbox Fanboys

I think South Park is a bit formulaic in how it approaches pop culture events and tries to twist 2 to 3 of them into a single story. Sometimes though, it's brilliant. I can't wait to watch these episodes when I get home.

How many PS4 controller are you buying?

I shouldn't need more than one. That is, until I wear the sticks down to nubs ;)

Game Trends You Would Like To See Less Of In This Generation

The fighter genre is very stale. "Fight on a 2D plane and eliminate your opponent's health bar, using button combinations for special moves". This is a status quo that has rarely been innovated upon. Smash Bros did a great job of making a fighting game exist with completely different...

    PS4 Related Deaths So Far

I don't understand it. These people involved are so young. I can't imagine, me being 22 years old, dying because I was trying to sell a video game console. Not drugs, not weapons, but a god damned Playstation 4. It's senseless.

What Are You Going To Do With Your xBox 360?

Keep it I think. There isn't a very big market for selling it, and there are still lots of games I haven't finished. Plus, they will still be releasing new games on the 360 for a little while still. So it still has some shelf life.

Would you sell your PS3 for a PS4?

With no backwards compatibility I can see the reasoning behind keeping your PS3. Simply put, it's just a great console, and I wouldn't get rid of it if that means I couldn't play PS3 games. Now, if you are done with all the games and want to move on to the next generation, that's a good choice too.

Sony not expecting this gen to last as long as the last one

Isn't Microsoft expecting and planning around a 10 year shelf life? I think the only way we'll see a PS5 in the next 5 years is if the PS4 severely under-performs AND new competition arrives on the market. The Steam Machine is the only new console competition on the horizon, and early PS4 sales...

Anyone else hoping that zombie games die down this generation?

Well, society's fickle tastes will move on to the next mythical creature soon enough. I'm just surprised we didn't see more vampire-based games when vampire popularity hit its fever pitch. Dragons have also seen their share of the spot light. Maybe werewolves will be fancied next.

Do You Feel The PS2 is Dated?

In some ways it is dated. Games are larger, longer, and more graphically intense than ever. Thanks to the PS2 and other popular consoles, gaming grew from sub-mainstream to a full blown cultural phenomenon. As a result, more money is being poured into development, and the results are quite...

Best Action Games For Xbox 360

Can't mention "action" without giving credit to the Halo series. It's very well done from top to bottom, single player to multi player. They've done such a fantastic job keeping the series rife with pulse-pounding scenes and frantic chaos.

Will you still continue to play the PS3 after the release of the PS4?

Absolutely. After all, to play the PS4 I have to get one first :P In reality though, without backwards compatibility there will be no other choice for playing PS3 games.

Rumor: Walmart does have PS4's in stock and will be selling them on Black Friday

Wal-Mart always seems to have available video game paraphernalia. I remember when Super Smash Bros Brawl was released, there were lineups at EB Games. My buddies and I went to Wal-Mart, where they had plenty in stock and nobody was around for miles (we went in the early morning). I can't...

Sony is Officially Bundling the Playstation 4 and Playstaton Vita Together!

Then what's the point? They wouldn't announce a bundle if there was no point to the bundle at all. Seriously.

Did you get an email to change your Password?

I would take precaution if I were you. It sounds like a phishing scam, not unlike one I received in my junk mail today to re-set my PayPal password. If it's legitimate, wait for it to be more diligently reported than taking heed from a rumor. You do not want to give up any information that could...

What Games Are You Terrible At?

I'm not very good at RPG's any more. Once in a while I can still get heavily invested into one, but I am just so much better at racers/shooters/platformers/fighters than I am with character building.

    Super Mario 3D Worlds?

For once, Nintendo put some heavy effort into advertising a WiiU game. Maybe that's why it's such a success (though I'm sure it merits it on game play alone). It looks like a lot of fun, like a cross between the traditional and the 3-dimensional Mario games. I can't wait to try it personally!

Buyer Beware-COD Ghosts Prestige Edition inc. season pass, NOT 1 year PSN+

Frankly it's a symptom of how DLC is being abused by developers. I believe you now have access to all the new maps they'll be coming out with (woo hoo). It's a mistake that you made though, if it's something you didn't want I'm sure they'll refund it to you.

Is the Wii U a serious contender for the 8th gen of consoles?

Nintendo will be fine. The WiiU isn't looking to be a contender, and will be losing even more ground when the Steam Machine hits the shelf. They have to do what they've done best for years -- innovate on their IPs. I feel the 2014 lineup will be strong but they will still be buried deep...
