The first game I played was the one that came in the bundle I bought and it was Resident Evil, I remember it very well because of that moment the first Zombie turns round to look at you, it made me jump right out of my skin and I remember thinking that the games for this machine are going to be...

I am curious to how this will affect the PS3 as I am assuming you can just sign into the network for PS4 using your existing PS3 user name( I am happy with mine and have no desire to change). Will this have an adverse effect to the network as a whole and you will be made to pay to use the online...

The price for the PS4 has not been very well received in Europe or the UK where I am based. The reason being is the huge difference in US price to here, Yes $399 is a good price but in the UK that should be £249 not £349 Sony quoted, also EU are expected to pay 399 euros which is £380 or $531...

My ps1 was soft modded so I never really was able to get caught it was hilarious how it was done. All it consisted of was a spring to hold open the lid but hold down the button which made the PS1 think it was closed and a boot up disc, once the boot up disc had finished loading it would stop...

I like the idea of it and they have already got it on the Vita console my only concern is the cost of a new controller will be pushed up by the amount of tech that goes into it, I know our controllers get kicked and dropped on a daily basis and I have had to replace them on a couple of occasions...

Tablets are good for playing games on but you have to remember just who owns a tablet and what games they are playing,Its the casual gamer that is playing free/microtransaction games or people playing facebook games. This platform is not a serious contender to the console market but it does hurt...

Wow that is quite a slap in the face for Microsoft and excellent PR for Sony. I for one can't wait till E3 just to see what this next generation machine will be capable of doing. The money is starting to burn a hole in my pocket waiting to spend it on a PS4.

I have plenty of games I have never finished for one reason or another just sitting there gathering dust. A couple that spring to mind are Fallout as I never really got on with it as it kept crashing my PS3 and Borderlands more recently I have not finished black op 2 yet despite playing its...

Still got mine and use it nearly every day at work so its pretty battered,The disk drive makes a horrid whirring noise so I have had to move all my games on the memory card as I have CFW installed ,its covered in scratches but I would never get rid of it and if it did die I think I would be lost...

Now that we are all aware that the PS4 will be released this year do you think there will be a drop off of decent titles being released for the PS3 over the remainder of the year. Apart from Call of Duty and Battlefield being confirmed for PS3 it looks like the rest of the year looks bleak for...

I have just looked at some reviews for MGS peace walker and i certainly think it looks good nice one 8bitpenguin I think I will go for this next.

I must be about the only person that own a Playstation product but has never played a final fantasy game. Is it possible to play Crisis Core having never played FF or do you need the back story?

I still play Tekken on my PSP and I still love it. I do enjoy street fighter 2 and mortal Kombat but the look and feel of Tekken outshines them both.

Can anyone advise on some good PSP games to get? I like FPS games mainly and I know they were garbage on the PSP so I am interested in something else. I have played NHL to death and I did not like Monster hunter but I would consider other RPG's though. any thoughts?

This thread has got me thinking, was it possible to put custom firmware on the PSPGO? The reason I ask is my PSP 1000 has been playing up recently and I may have to change it but it has Custom firmware on it. I liked the look of the Go, so if I can put that on there I will go for one as they...

I can see how you burned up +170hrs on Monster Hunter as I tried to play it recently it took me all day just to do the training lol I know friends have told me to stick with it as it gets better but I find it far to slow. Back on topic though Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Senior Manager...

The biggest gripe for me is the compulsory updates I mean honestly if I want an update for simplified Chinese or a permanent link to the Singstar store then I will come and find it, I do not want it to be forced on to me every time I fire up my Playstation. That is all!

I think Sony tend to advertise mainly online, you do however see more on TV around Christmas and also when Sony are going to do a price drop. I would like to think we will start to see more PS4 adverts soon or else Xbox will steal all the thunder.

I thought Socom Confrontation was pretty good I had some good times playing that,it was just the community that sucked there seemed to be more Aholes on there than any other game I have seen, the fact that you could be kicked at anytime meant that a lot of team politics went on.

I watched most of the reveal and I must admit I wasn't blown away. I was more impressed with EA's ignite engine that looked good, as for streaming tv and a bluray, Meh been done already! and still no real indication as to its true price.
