24hrs!

Less than 24 hours now until the game is released! Did anyone pre-order from the PS store and get to play it in roughly an hour? (Assuming it meant midnight EST) I ordered from gamestop, so I sadly have to wait until they open to get mine. I'm really excited to play, though, and it will likely be an all-day excursion of immersing myself in Chicago.

Some Gamestops are opening at Midnight for Watch Dogs, might want to look into that..

I held out until the media embargo was lifted, and I think I'll hold out a little while longer now after seeing some of the reviews. I'll probably pick it up around Black Friday when it's price gets slashed.

Yeah, sounds like the game doesn't live up to its hype. At all. But might still be solid, though I've seen a lot of videos of silly bugs and glitches!

I've put in a couple hours so far and it is definitely a good game. The hype train for new games just gets ridiculous sometimes. It's unrealistic to expect every new game to be the greatest game ever. And just because something isn't the greatest thing ever doesn't mean it isn't good.

It is a great game, I'm enjoying it! I'm not a hardcore gamer, though. I'm much more easily impressed. The only glitch that I have noticed flat out, was at the beginning before the game 'starts' that the subtitles were literally a good 20 seconds off. They work fine once the game starts, though.

Also, Ubisoft servers are so full it's nuts. I keep getting kicked off even when I manage to finally connect.

One other main bug is the load time. If you fail a mission, you could go make a sandwich in the time it takes the game to come back online to your checkpoint. Or is that just me and linked to my internet connection or something?

I did notice borderline offensive loading times as well. I just finished Assassin's Creed IV and it loaded a whole ocean in less time than Watch Dogs loaded it's first mission.

ummm you mean the loading time on PS4 is THAT long?
I was under the impression the loading for last gen is slow while the current gen loading is as fast as other games :/

It was literally the first time I turned the game on, and it was downloading a patch at the same time. For all I know tge patch fixed it and it will be all better now.
