A comparison of the day one games on PS4 and XBox One

This one's from ign. It seems clear that XBox has more exclusives on day one but PS4 has much more in terms of digital launch. What are your thoughts on this?

Exclusives are what drive game console sales but launch day line up hardly says anything. See the PS3 launch lineup and the 2013 lineup. Massive difference.

Yes, I agree.
Launch day releases means nothing. The catalog will be filled up later, so to make a decent comparison he'll have to wait.

Agree,you need to see the larger picture. Day one it may have more I dunno,but what about in the coming months and years?

Exclusives are what really matters when it comes down to it. In this day and age, the differences in graphic is negligible, so people should go with which console has more games that they want to play.

Nowadays i think the differences are not that big, like they were back in the day of the Genesis and the SNES, you really don't notice the graphics that much and most of the games already are multiplatform, so no real deal if you are not but a fanatic for a very specific game.

I will say I'm a fan of Xbox, I have both PS3 and Xbox360 but Day 1 on NextGen, PS4 offers my taste more.
You can have 10 exclusive games but If I'm not interested in those it has no value.

Trust me, I was going to buy PS4 and XboxOne on their day 1 release day. But this past week I said, I won't even be playing a game on the XboxOne so why get it now?
That is just my preference. I'm interested and hope WarFrame free game on PS4 is going to be good.

Neither line up is all that impressive really. And at least for me, just because a console has exclusive doesn't mean that their any good. Neither the Xbox One or the games that they have really appeal to me right now the more that I learn about them. Until I see reviews otherwise then it's just more shovelware.

It would be nice to have had more launch titles, but most of the ones I liked got delayed. I don't mind, though, as long as the library builds up in the long run, I'll buy a PS4 and support their system. Just hopefully it doesn't take as long as the PS3 library, of course.
