A Hacker Group Takes Down Game Servers!

Today, a hacker group called, DERP has taken down game servers from numerous video game companies such as World of Tanks and even EA! It sounds like the video game version of Anonymous. Except Anonymous has justifiable reasons. DERP took down the game servers for fun, for a good laugh and just because they can. What the hell man! Leave our games alone! We lazy gamers just wanna have fun and, uh, be lazy. Hackers are cool and all but when they breach our video games, they can go F themselves!!!!

I read they were targeting a specific user, not the games themselves. Didn't say in the articles I read what their beef was with the guy but any game he tried to play, they took down the server. But the hacker group I read in one called the cops on him and said that he was involved in a hostage situation. Must have done something really big to piss them off, lol.

Seems just a tad excessive. Wouldn't it have been easier to just dox him or something? That's what they usually do.

I do remember hackers targetting specific gamers. I remember reading about someone who got ddos attacked until he re-set his stats on Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. I tell you, some people don't have very mature lives.
