Adam Boyes Confirms: Call of Duty: Ghosts is Native 1080p on PS4

After it was revealed that Call of Duty: Ghosts would run at 1080p on PS4 through a listing on the PlayStation Store, many people have been wondering if this meant it would just output in 1080p, or if it would be native 1080p.

Yesterday, Adam Boyes, VP of Publisher & Developer Relations at Sony Computer Entertainment America, confirmed that Call of Duty: Ghosts is “native 1080p on the PS4.

Are you guys excited about this?

I feel that in a game like Call of Duty it will not make a huge difference I would be way happier if they announced this for the new BF4 that has much more to offer in 1080p. What do you guys think?

I think any time a game, especially a game of this caliber, announces a graphical milestone, it's always a good thing. This may not impact the franchise too much, but it will impact the franchise's competitors, what gamers expect from other games, and in turn, it will affect the entire industry. Baby steps are still steps.
