Alien: Isolation is coming

I don't know how to feel about this after the train wreck that was the last Aliens game that we got. But maybe just maybe, this one won't be a colossal waste of time and an epic disappointment. Isolation has been confirmed by Sega and will be released lat (Q4) of 2014. I'm reserving judgement but I'll air on the side of caution and say that it's not going to be that good. But maybe I'm being unfair. Thoughts?

I had Aliens Colonial Marines and its hard to like it even as an Alien fan (who isnt?) but you never know.
Time will tell but even now it will probably end up 'average' at best.

Yeah when a game based from the Alien films should get everybody excited. But sadly, Aliens: CM was just pretty bad so now we're all skeptical. I want this to be good, but as I said, I'm skeptical.

I must be the only one here that ain't an Aliens fan. I'll play the game if it turns out good regardless of if it's Aliens or not.

Seems its not really an action shooter this time,but more like survival horror.

Looking at the trailer reminds of Daylight. For some reason, they are really similar. Whatever it is, I'm glad that survival horror is finally making a comeback. It's been sidelined for so long, it's high time for survival horror to strike again. So far we've got Evil Within, Daylight, and Outlast announced and now Alien Isolation.

I know what you mean. When I first read an article about it, I thought "here we go again". Colonial Marines still has a bad taste in my mouth and it really has me airing on the side of caution for games I get hyped up about (and I was super hyped about it). The way they are doing it seems interesting and I will be watching it. I won't be getting it on launch day or at least until I hear reviews and what people online say. Though the way I see it, Alien fans are way over due for a good Aliens game. Been way too long.

If it can capture the suspense of the film then it will be a winner for me.
I seen alien as a kid. Scared the shit out of me. When the alien is heading towards Dallas..... Heart pounding. Will look forward to this.
