Amazon Customer Service

I just wanted to say, that Amazon has the best customer service I've seen.
I ordered a hard drive a few days ago, and I never received the package.
After getting off with customer support, he said he will be reshipping, and will arrive in a day.
What happens? The hard drive was delivered the following day.

Did any of you happen to run into amazon's customer service? If you did, how was it?

I agree Amazon has a great customer service. I often use Amazon because I have only once had a delivery that was late, and in some cases items arrive earlier than expected. The item that was late was a pouch of cacao powder, I was told it was because the stock was low after a big order and as a result my delivery would be 2 days late. This didn't bother me though because the service was very helpful in explaining the reason for the issue.

I didn't have such a good experience with Amazon the last time I ordered from them. Ordered a pair of shoes but cancelled an hour later because I wanted to order another pair that was on Amazon too, but they charged my credit card twice so I had to wait 30 days to get my money back, thing that sucked big time.

Their customer service is very good. I've even gotten free credits to use towards purchases when I've had some things not get sent to me or some seller sold me a lemon product. Ebay has good customer service as well.

I have received a $9 refund on my order since it was late. I don't know if the problem was on my end, whether I put a wrong address, but the customer support handled it pretty quickly. He said he had the package, so it was probably on my end. One thing that I won't forget is to contact Amazon directly, not fedex. Their customer support was literally garbage. The woman that answered the phone said the package was "undeliverable" even though the tracking status on the fedex website said delivered. I had to get through the automated voice system as well, and took many tries to get through that.

Fedex customer service can't be as bad as USPS. When a United States Postal Service package goes missing, the people on the phone have no idea what to do. They'll just say "hopefully it'll turn up". That's not a strategy in my book.
