Angry Birds Star Wars $40! You have to be kidding me!

Anyone else think Angry Birds Star Wars for $40 is more than highway robbery?

If Sony offered the whole Angry Birds Collection with a new Angry Birds Exclusive to the PS4 and it was $10, I am not really sure if I would purchase it. These are 99 cent games for phones/tablets. I don't see how the console adds anything to a game that was designed for a touch screen interface and is very similar to computer games I played in the early 1980s!

Is anyone actually buying Angry Birds for $40 for the PS4?

Wow. That is an expensive Angry Bird game. I think they think that since it's Star Wars, people will be more likely to spend more on it. And seeing how popular Angry Birds is, they definetely went ahead and slapped a high price on it. I'm not buying it. I'll wait until it drops to a few bucks lol!

Yes, it's definitely overpriced. Since it's a well-known game nowadays, I believe they took advantage of it to make it that expensive.
I won't pay that for a angry birds game, that's for sure.

On my tablet, I can get it with ads for free and I think it costs like $3.99 for the full game and to be honest that is a phone/tablet game in design.

Unfortunately, it looks like Sony is trying to rape people buy throwing in two popular items in "Angry Birds" and "Star Wars."

I guess if people are stupid enough to buy it but I have to believe there are going to be people that bought it and thinking why did I just pay $40 bucks for a phone game?

Look at the reviews on Amazon for Angry Birds Star Wars which is the same version that is 99 cents on Google Play or ITunes:

It wont let me post links until I have 30 posts but do a Amazon search for Angry Birds Star Wars for PS4 and you will see all the one star reviews from people bitching about a 99 cent game being $40 bucks.

These type of money grabs really put Sony in a bad light and this is a company that lost their dominant electronic market to Samsung and other companies. Another crap move is not letting the PS4 app run on the Samsung Galaxy series. I know the Galaxy S3 sold over 10 million so to ignore that percentage of the market is stupid. I run their app on my Nexus and it really is nothing special but it should run on competing models of smart phones. Sony has not ever made a good smart phone to my knowledge.

Older folks will get it for their grandkids because Angry Birds is popular and all of that. It really is a rip off at $40 and the size of it, they most likely could've put all games in the series on the disc or download with the extra levels and most likely still not hit the $40 mark.

...sit and wait for the Sith Zombies DLC.

I believe the original Angry Birds was $5.99 on the ps3. I did not know until looking but they are selling the Star Wars version on the PS3 also for $40.

That's $2 per level. Not for a normal video game level, but an Angry Birds level. Might as well go to Newgrounds at that point.

I know the owner of Rovio has ego issues as he stated that they are changing video games forever. This is ludicrous. I admit that I found the original Angry Birds entertaining for 99 cents but it reminded me so much of a catapult game I played in the early 80s on my home computer. It really is nothing new other than a lot of people think the birds are cute so they sell lots of angry bird plush dolls and pillows. I have not seen anything even close to the lightning in the bottle that was angry birds. I just wonder how much money Rovio gets and Sony gets on each $40 purchase which I still hope not many people have bought.
