Angry Birds Star Wars $40! You have to be kidding me!

Probably had kids have their parents\grandparents buy them this game as a gift not knowing it is a 99 cent game on Android/IOS.

Oh, no. I hope not, but you're probably right. I wonder how many adults fell victim to that huge overpay thanks to their kids. You don't even have to pay on Android, or at least you didn't when the game first came out.

It used to be that the free version had ads at the bottom and the 99 cents version didn't. However, if you had a rooted Android, you can run Ad Blocker software that prevents the ads from showing up.

I do love how much more expensive they are on consoles compared phones. It's funny because people actually buy them. Rovio only need a few people to buy it for it to be worth. A question though seeing as though this is an old topic, has the price been reduced since then or anything?

I doubt it as there have been very few sales on the PS4 especially compared to the PS3. Thief was $19.99 for one week and then went back up to $49.99 or $59.99. The Angry Birds on the PS3 was also crazy priced. I think this is just a thing where companies feel like they can stick it to casual gamers as they probably feel like most of those people don't understand the difference in play value between Uncharted/Mass Effect/Dark Souls, etc. vs Angry Birds Star Wars. I am guessing maybe wrongly so that people who bought a PS4 to play Angry Birds, Jeopardy, and Wheel of Fortune may not be as technical savvy as hardcore gamers that have a PS4/Xbone and a good PC Rig.

Eh was 49.99, which is $50, not $40, but it did drop. $19.99 is still too high. Couldn't find anything on sales beyond something back in april laughing at 2200 suckers.
