Animal Crossing

Have you ever played Animal Crossing, on the Wii? This game is highly addictive and cute. You play as a person, who just moved into a town full of animals. You just interact with everyone, and customize stuff. The game plays in real time, even when you are not playing. I love it when the seasons change, in the game.

I've heard it's great but you have to really read the directions beforehand. Is there a lot of them? It doesn't sound complicated but a game that isn't very self-explanatory doesn't sound fun.

It really is addictive! I haven't played it on the Wii, but I've got the Nintendo DS version and...yeah, it's a lot of fun. I actually had to stop playing it, though, because the real time aspect was making me anxious for some reason, haha!

Is it kind of like a Sim game? I don't know much about it. It looks cute though and I've heard good things about it. I might try it out if I can find it at a decent price. I always see it at the store but it's too expensive. It must be popular.

I borrowed a friend's copy of one of the Animal Crossing games before, and it really is a lot of fun. Sometimes, though, I kind of wondered why I was spending so many hours planting fake crops and meeting fake people.

There really are not instructions to read. You move in to town, make money, friends, and do tasks. When I first bought Animal Crossing, I found myself waking up, in the middle of the night, so I could see what was happening in my town!

That sounds pretty cool - but no I have not ever played it. It sounds like a game that my younger nephew would love. Thanks for the new game to look into. Do you think a 8 year old would understand and like it?

Animal Crossing... Hmm... The name sounds familiar. I think I've read about it somewhere online... I haven't played it either, but I agree that, according to your description, it sounds like an awesome game. Is it designed exclusively for the Wii?

I think an eight year old would enjoy Animal Crossing. It is so easy, there is nothing to really understand, about gameplay. I love to fish, with my character. The townspeople are a hoot, also.

I think so, yeah. The gameplay is pretty easy and the characters are really cute in a kid-friendly kind of way. Wasn't Animal Crossing originally advertised as a kids game, anyway?

I like Animal Crossing, but it really didn't hold my interest for long. The whole thing strikes me as kind of an odd hybrid between Harvest Moon and The Sims.

I personally love this series. It does depend what game of Animal Crossing you did play. If it was the Gamecube version
it didn't offer that much in comparison to it's later versions on the DS and the Wii.

The new 3DS version is coming out soon which offers 10 times more gameplay than the pervious ones! You get to be the
mayor now so you can change the whole look of your town, put in new laws and there are so many new items to buy and
most of them you can customise colour wise. It offers so much more and if you were going to try Animal Crossing again
I would recommend the latest title.
