Just pre ordered it as never played I either of them on ps3.

As it's 2 games in one I thought why not.
What game is it like?
 
The games are really quite remarkable. As to what other games they have semblance to... um... well that is harder for me to explain. Here is hoping someone else can answer this question better. However, both titles feature some pretty nuanced ideas in both first-person gaming and narrative. I think you will enjoy both immensely.
 
I can't really speak for console versions of the game because I only played them on PC, but these games are great. I recommend them to anyone who hasn't played. They were some of my favorite games from the last few years. They definitely deserved more attention than they got.
 
I loved Metro 2033, and some moments in that game scared the crap out of me. It had its flaws, but it was overall a fantastic game nonetheless. I never played Last Light, but I heard some positive things about it, too. I'll probably get Metro Redux when it comes out so that I can get an even better experience with Last Light. Going through 2033 again sounds pretty exciting, too.
