Seeing as it's not out yet, and we're past the release window, I'd imagine "never" is pretty accurate, haha. Oh well, guess it's the old standbys for now.

As far as I know not yet. But Namco will surely make one in the future. If they don't I think we will know. It can't be a sony playstation without a tekken !

Fighting games seem to have had their day now. There are still some released but they are very spread apart. I am sure there will be a Tekken this generation, but I think they will wait for a bigger audience.

Last gen was pretty crazy for fighting games: Street Fighter 4, a new, good MK game, Tekken, SF VS Tekken..it'll be awhile til we see releases like that on the new gen.

I feel like the demand for fighting games today is higher than it ever was--the problem is getting those games in the hands of Western audiences.
Persona 4 Arena, Marvel vs. Capcom 3, BlazBlue, Dead or Alive; just to name a few more.

I was traumatized when I first played MK with my friend who is a pro at it. Kept on hearing those lines... Match after match... And I was just sitting there mashing on all the buttons... as fast as I can to see if I could win.

Ed Boon is teasing about an MK x something game. Imagine an MK x Tekken game. That would be sooo much fun. The last MK crossover (MK vs DC) was pretty crap though. Also, what happened to Tekken x Street Fighter? I'd play that. That's probably gonna be the next Tekken game since it's been announced a couple of years ago already.

I would prefer a MK game only for MK,no crossover types.

I'd much rather have Bloody Roar 5 than any other 3D fighting game.
I'm pretty sure it's Mortal Kombat 10.

I'd much rather have MK 10 though. MK9 came out in 2011 so I wouldn't mind them teasing MK10 this year then releasing it next year. That's a 4 year development cycle. MK v DC came out in 2008 so that means MK9 had a 3 year dev cycle.

Lol I don't think that Ed Boon would just say that it's MK X SF in a reply on Twitter. It's just way too unbelievable and funny, but I'll keep an open mind.

I don't know, Boon's known for trolling MK fans all the time. I know Kiefer Sutherland slipped up and mentioned a new MK game he voiced on. Who knows, it's all just speculation. I hope they actually reveal it soon though (preferably within this year).

As long as they use 9 or Injustice as a base, it's all good. Though I don't like MK, more of a Tekken, Guilty Gear and Persoba 4 Arena guy.
