Their prices were pretty high but Tower Records had been a staple of American business for years. Until they shut down all their stores. Particularly the big one here in downtown New York City. But I guess with the internet, torrents, mp3s, etc coming into position to dominate the market. It was only a matter of time before Tower had to close up shop. Unless they changed their business plan entirely.
