Anyone excited for South Park: The Stick of Truth

I am a huge South Park and I can't wait for this game. I was going to pick up the "Grand Wizard" edition, but I recently saw the same figure for sale at my local comic book store. Turns out they aren't the figure, the one for sale is 3 inches and the one that comes with the special edition is 6 inches, but it makes it less special for me.

The game play footage on Youtube makes it looks like its going to be a mature version of the Mario & Luigi games for the GBA or DS.

Any one else excited for this game?

I am! Very excited as I love South Park and expect to laugh my butt off through-out the game.

Man, I have to admit. This game looks good. To be honest, I only had one go at a South Park game and that was way back in the PS1. It was kind of a first person shooter and it really left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm willing to give South Park another go. Besides, I know that the game would now look awesome since it's for the current gen consoles.

Really interested. Might be the first truly good South Park game, considering Matt and Trey's involvement in the project. Hope it turns out good.

Don't have really high hopes for the game but it sure looks good. I mean the TV show hasn't been good for close to 2 seasons now and I am not sure how that'll affect the quality of the game. Perhaps, because it's a different medium, they might be able to pull it off, so I'll definitely be trying it.

Yeah the quality of the TV show hasn't been great lately, but it's always been hit and miss. Ultimately, even if it's not hilarious, it can still be an entertaining and engaging game. If an episode of South Park isn't funny, it doesn't have much going for it, but that's not the case for this.

This one is looking a lot more polished than any other previous game adaptation, so yes, I'm a little more excited for this. Usually, I'd just write it off as just another TV game, but I think the creators have begun to pay a little more attention to their other mediums, and the standard of video games in general is just raising daily in general. I won't get this on release, but I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it.

I have never a big fan of cartoon or television type games. Usually games like this are pretty cheesy to me, because they are less entertaining and compelling to play. Although I am a big fan of South Park I could never bring myself to purchasing a South Park video game.

This games out of series or movies don't usually show very potentional, but this one is actually looking good.
I also love south park so maybe it's a factor for my view of the game, people who don't know what south park is won't enjoy the game as much or at all.

I do not really have high expectations for this game bnut maybe it might turn out to be a good surprise. I am a fan of the show, so that should keep me interested.

If it plays well, it will be awesome. If not, ehh. South Park in general is awesome, but they have really failed to ever make a decent game based around the series.

Not sure if anyone is keeping up with this game, but it got delayed back to next March. I'm pretty bummed, it was pretty high on my Christmas list. Hopefully the game is good when it comes out.
