Anyone here still plays Monster Hunter?

I was quite disappointed that Monster Hunter 4 will not be coming to PSP and was wondering if there are any hunters still around. I completed all I wanted to in MHP3rd and went back to MHFU because I felt that MHFU was more challenging with the G-rank and Elder Dragons present.

So do any of you guys still hunt? What have been some of your more memorable MH moments? We can also discuss any hunting problems you may have here!

lol. I was wondering if anyone played Monster Hunter 4 still. I just traded mine in. Still, I can remember putting a lot of time into that game and it doesn't make much sense that it's not being ported to the PS Vita. That kind of sucks.

I know how you feel. I remember reading some comments on Youtube where people are saying that the reason that MH4 is being made for the DS is because Nintendo asked Capcom to help boost the sales of the DS. While I'm not too sure about the validity of such claims but I think there is some truth behind it. The Monster Hunter series boosts sales on any of the platforms it is released on. PSP withe Monster Hunter (MH) and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (MHFU), Wii with MH Tri and now the DS with Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (MH3U). Although I want to play MH4, I don't know if I want to make the switch to the DS, because I feel the DS is a lesser console compared to the PSP.

Well, now that we got a native 2 analog handheld, capcom goes out and pull this kind of crap.
Sigh, at least we have Soul Sacrifice, that should be enough until Capcom realizes their bad choice.

Monster hunter is still one of those series that i don't know what to feel. After losing my 278 hour save on MHUF when trying to back up, i just completely tried to forget about the series until they release a new one for a Sony system.

Ouch! That must have been a painful moment! I would dread to think of the day when my save data is corrupt just when I'm about to kill fatalis. I hope it's soon because Monster hunter really is one of my all time favourites!

But just to update you guys! I just finished killing enough Kirins to create a full Kirin armour. I hate that stupid creature!!! It moves all over the place and I have to use a weapon that I'm not good with: The Hammer.

I used to but I wish it were on PS3. I would play it nonstop but I can only afford one console every 3 years haha.

I only got into it with Monster Hunter 3 on the Wii, but I'm currently engrossed in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for the Wii U. I'm past 150 hours played, which doesn't sound like much, but I rarely get a chance to pour that many hours into a game these days.

Monster Hunter is both terrible and wonderful.

I played Monster Hunter Tri for the Wii for a good bit, but it was months after the online serves shut down completely. Playing it for single player was okay, but multi-player made the game enticing to get into for hours on end.

Other than that, I have yet to finish the game, and I focus more on leveling up as much as I can. I’ve been putting it off lately since having online gone for good saps my motivation to keep going with it.

I enjoyed Monster Hunter Tri online more than the single player mode. I think I would've utterly loved it had I gotten a regular gamepad. I had to play with the Wiimote and it was...solid for the most part.
