Anyone play a lot of sports games?

I never really liked sports games but I can tell you that after watching the FIFA world cup that is going on that I have been hooked to playing FIFA now. As I said before I really did not like FIFA games but I must say that after being hooked to the live world cup that I am really enjoying playing the game now even though I still suck.

I played the crap out of NHL '94 on genesis. Not a big sports games fan, though. Too many buttons for me these days. I like my sports games simple.

I play a decent amount of sports games. I don't buy new ones every year, but I have a FIFA game (and FIFA Street), Madden and a couple of "extreme sports" games (Skate, Tony Hawk Project 8). I understand why people don't like them, but they're a good way to kill 20 minutes or an hour.

I play a lot of NBA 2k on my PS2 back then but I just lost interest after they relased 2k10. I also play a lot of WWE games but I don't think that counts as a sports game. I also play FIFA but I hate that game.

I used to play them on older systems with my dad when I was younger, but not anymore. In my opinion, if you're going to play sports you should do it in real life, and if you want to fantasize and get immersed in a great world and story, then you should play video games. Also I have to admit, sports games in real life have better controls.

I've really tried playing sports games in the past, but I just can't help getting bored to death. The only time I got hooked on a sports game was with e NeGeo golf game. I started messing around with the it and little by little I got hooked. Got to admit that little game was pretty good and entertaining.

I don't play much sports games but i will be buying NBA2K16 when it comes out

I enjoy the Madden series but I really like the '10 version. I pay MVP Baseball 2004 and 2005. Fifa is a blast. I haven't found a good tennis game since virtua tennis.
