Anyone playing?

Anyone playing the crap out of this? I'm playing it more than any other game right now and loving it. I'm by no means a plane or history buff but flying a plane around and shooting stuff is proving a million times more fun than any FPS for me. I just wish the game currency wasn't so expensive, I was going to buy enough for a spitfire but £12 has made me think thrice.

I haven't played this yet...how possible is it to play the game without shelling out cash? I don't like games that I have to keep paying for once I've already paid for the game itself.

It's really easy actually, it seems to be well balanced so that skill makes as much of a difference as your load out. It's not HARD to get into either, though you will crash a few times before you get the hang of it.

If you play it remember that the golden eagle currency is premium, meaning you have to buy it. You get some free to start you off but I wasted them because I didn't know. It's definitely not essential though.

It's also a free to play game, so no paying for anything twice but the premium content is way expensive IMHO.

Its a global game. On the PS4 thought right now its not available in the US. They're still working on the North American release apparently. Your country in your PSN profile needs to be like Australia or another country its been released in. I've been playing it like crazy. :D I'm addicted now.

So the game is only available in specific regions. No wonder that I couldn't find it on US PSN and my Asia PSN. Is it really that good because creating another UK account seems like extra work just for one game? Also, what's the news on it releasing worldwide, is it releasing soon so that I don't have to make another account?

No idea what the word is but I'd recommend it. it's a refreshing break from the normal shooters and a great game in it's own right. I've been using bombers the last few days and hitting four different targets on one run is damn satisfying.

If you're in doubt, you can always grab it off of Steam on your PC and give it a try there. That's where I'm waiting out the PS4 release, by still playing it on PC. :P

If only my PC isn't so darn old I would have gotten it off of Steam. I don't game on PC ever so I am clueless at what's going on with PC tech. Guess I'll have to wait until it is available worldwide. Maybe I'll wait a month or two and see if it's coming to other regions before setting one up.

I'm not starting a new thread because this is at the top already, but has anyone else noticed a huge trend in people just ramming you out of the air? It didn't happen much at first but now I'm lucky to have a match where it doesn't happen at least twice. Makes me really glad I didn't pay for the game, at this rate I'll have abandoned it by next month. I guess it doesn't happen so much on the PC because you need a decent rig and at least a morsel of skill.

It's sad to say, but making the game on console has really opened it up to loads and loads of arseholes. If it's the same in realistic battles on PS4 I'll just give up with it and play the PC version all the time.
