Are you a better at console or PC games?

I have a good friend who is very good at Counter Strike: Global Offensive, and watching him play it, made me realize who bad I am at PC games.

Up until I was 15 or so, I had only really played simulation (Zoo Tycoon, Roller Coaster Tycoon, etc.) or flash games on a PC.

That's why I'm much, much better at console games than PC.

What about you?

I am better at FPSs on PC because KB&M is the best control method for that genre.

It's been ages since I've played any game on the PC. If you were to ask me this ten years ago, I would have answered PC but now my fingers are too stiff for the keyboard and mouse other than for typing and navigating. In conclusion, I play better on the console. Even aiming with the right stick has become second nature to me be it FPS or TPS.

I've never been good at FPS games, whether on PC or console, so I wouldn't really know how to gauge if I'm better at either one. If I had to choose, though, I'd say I much more prefer FPS on PC using a keyboard. I feel a little awkward aiming on a console controller.

I'm a way better console gamer, even though I play PC games much more, I don't know eactly how its possible, but for the controllers just work better than a mouse and keboard.

I am a better at Console games because i find the controls to console games to be more simple. That is basically it! But i have eventually gotten better at PC games over the years, it just takes a little time.

I am better at PC gaming, but I do know how to play console games. I used to play a lot of Call of Duty back when I didn't have my PC. Now, i've been playing more PC games, but I still play my console from time to time.

I know most people say that it's easier to aim with a mouse than it is to aim with a controller, but I personally am more comfortable aiming with a controller. Some games work better on a keywords, like strategy RPGs. However, I mostly play FPS games, so I like to use a controller for that.

I'm no slouch with a mouse, but I have so many more hours logged on handheld inputs and controllers. My experience would dictate that I'm better at console games.

I'm a way better pc gamer and I think that has to do with the fact that I'm naturally incline to play games that require a lot of precision targeting like counter strike or even halo. These things are inevitably easier to do on the keyboard so I'm way better as a pc gamer.

Well, some games I'm better on a PC and some games better on a console. For fighting and sports games I prefer playing on a console with a controller and with friends, its easier to play with friends on a console. But for more serious games, like FPS or any other single player games, I prefer the PC since the controls are more accurate and flexible, specially when it comes to FPS, also, PC is far superior when it comes to single player games, it has better graphics and over all better performance.

I'm much better at pc games. I have a lot more experience with the keyboard+mouse and prefer it for nearly everything, with the exception of stuff like Dark Souls or flying games. I'm terrible at fighters, period.

Konsole is WAY better than PC for FPS.

Reason? Nobody plays PC. It's difficult to find a good lobby with reasonable ping, many gamemodes are dead due to lack of players.

Yes, the controls on PC are easier to use, but it's just a matter of adapting to controller, and deal with the less accuracy. Kontolfreeks helps a lot here. And I'm getting Scuf asap to be able to jumpshot, dropshot etc.

And as I've bought a PS4, I probably have the best console available for the next 6 years or so. No upgrades, no nothing. Just playing, and having fun. As the developers get to utilize the hardware to the full potential, the games will be awesome.

It really sucks, not to be able to play due to lack of players. Now I'm just hoping for Gaikai to work good enough, so I can play the entire CoD series. I really love all the previous CoD's.

And man, would I love playing MW3 with my Astro A40s! Soundwhoring is so awesome! Yes, it's great in Ghost, but its great in MW3, which is a much better game IMO.

Agree, with the PC. I played a fair few Pc MMO,FPS games and always found that keyboard and Mouse is far easier controlling your crosshairs and aiming etc, So many more commands can be assigned to a keyboard than just a console controller.....and don`t get me started with the ability to macro commands to a keyboard or mouse!

ESO(Elder Scrolls Online) will be interesting to see how the controls fair on the PS4 against PC users

I am only better at console games because I use a cheat device such as a CodeBreaker or Action Replay. Games such as GTA: VC, GTA: SA, Dynasty Warriors 4, Final Fantasy X, Soul Calibur 3, and Manhunt are worth playing only if there are codes input in them. Of course, you can't always win in some of these games.

For PC games though, I never use any cheats, and you could say that I am technically better at PC games, because I usually play them alone. The Ninja Turtles PC game is quite addictive for me to play, and I don't know why I keep playing it.

I am better at console games.

I could never really get into PC games. I think it has something to do with the type of games that are available on the PC. I play mostly sports tittles. There are not many sports games available for the PC. The PC also does not have a gaming network like PSN. PSN multiplayer is half the fun of gaming in my opinion.

The ability to chat, and play against people all over the world is much more convenient on a console.

Much better at PC games. Originally started on Runescape a LONG time ago and been playing WoW on and off since vanilla. Really didn't get into console gaming until the PS3 came out and even then, I only bought a select number of titles for it. I hope to change this with the PS4 though, as soon as more games I like come out

I'm alright at both. It really depends on the game. I know some PC FPS have really simple controls, which makes the game easy to get a hang of and master. On the other hand, many PS3 games have very similar controls, and you can get to playing and doing the basics without even needing to be told how to do the most basic actions such as walking. Sometimes a game changes it up though, such as an old one called Ghost Recon 2, which controls totally caught me off guard and took me a while to get used to.

CS takes a lot of time and patience. People used to a controller will have a hard time playing the game. You need good control over the mouse to play it. After, 800 hours in the game, I can call myself decent at best.

I am usually better at PC games as I get more control with a keyboard and mice. I can have multiple hotkeys that will make changing items much easier than a controller. Not to mention a mouse is way more accurate and responsive than a joystick.
